Մինչ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը փորձում է իր վարչախմբի հետ միասին փոխել Հայաստանի աշխարհաքաղաքական վեկտորը և տարածաշրջանից դուրս հանել Ռուսաստանին, շատ աշխարհաքաղաքական ուժային կենտրոններն էլ այլևս կոնսենսուսի են հանգել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին հեռացնելու հարցով։

Ընդհանրապես շատերը կարծում են, թե աշխարհաքաղաքական վեկտորի փոփոխության հարցում Փաշինյանը «վա բանկի» գնում է ընդամենը մեկ նպատակով, զուտ սեփական իշխանությունը երկարաձգելու և սեփական անձի, ընտանիքի համար անվտանգության երաշխիքներ ստանալու, միևնույնն է ռուսական կողմն առնվազն վստահ է, որ Փաշինյանին վաղուց պետք է դուրս գրել խաղից։ Մոսկվան այս հարցում պայմանավորվել է նույնիսկ Փաշինյանի գլխավոր հովանավորների՝ Ադրբեջանի և Թուրքիայի նախագահների հետ։

Ամբողջ խնդիրն այն է, որ Արևմուտքը, լինելով գերպրագմատիկ աշխարհաքաղաքական բևեռ, հրաշալի հասկանում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը վաղուց արդեն խփված քարտ է, ինչպես քաղաքականության մեջ ընդունված է ասել՝ «կաղ բադ է»։

Գիտակցելով, որ գետնի վրա ռուսները, թուրքերը և նույնիսկ ադրբեջանցիները չուզելով, որ որոշակի պարտքեր պետք է վերադարձնեն ռուսներին, իրենք էլ են համաձայն, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին արդեն դուրս գրելու ժամանակն է, ամեն դեպքում Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը շատ երկար երկարաձգել չի հաջողվի։ Փաշինյանին դուրս գրելու հարցում համակարծիք է նաև Իրանը, որն ի դեմս Նիկոլի, տեսնում է տարածաշրջան Իրանին թշնամի ուժեր բերողի և, որն, ըստ էության, հակաիրանական քաղաքական կուրս է վարում արդեն տևական ժամանակ։

Վաշինգտոնը հասկանալով, որ Փաշինյանի քաղաքական կարիերան իրականում հնարավոր չէ փրկել, շուտափույթ փորձում է ամեն գնով նրան փոխարինող գտնել, որպեսզի նույնիսկ անկանխատեսելի ֆորս մաժորների պարագայում հանկարծ անակնկալի չգան։

Երկար ժամանակ Արևմուտքը Հայաստանում քաստինգ է անում՝ հասկանալու, թե ով կարող է լինել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի փոխարինողը նման զարգացումների դեպքում։ Առաջին էքսպերիմենտը, որն արվեց քաղաքապետի ընտրություների ժամանակ էր, երբ քաղաքական նոր ուժ ձևավորեցին նախկին քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանի շուրջ՝ նրան կպցնելով ամերիկյան, թեկուզ ոչ հայտնի պրոյեկտին՝ «Ազգային առաջընթաց» կուսակցությանը։ Սկզբունքորեն այդ նախագիծը վատ չաշխատեց, չեղած տեղում համարյա 20 % հավաքելով։ Ամեն դեպքում ամերիկացիներն այն իրենց որպես ակտիվ են ընկալում, սակայն միայն Մարությանով չեն բավարարվում, այժմ էլ փորձում են հասկանալ, թե ով, կամ ովքեր կարող են լինել, իսկ մինչ հայաստանյան քաղաքական դաշտում ռեալ ուժեր չկան, արևմտյան թեքումով լուրջ առաջնորդներ գոյություն չունեն, ամերիկյան կողմը սկսել են նույնիսկ դիտարկել բիզնեսի աշխարհի մարդկանց, ոչ քաղաքական դեմքերի, որոնք ունեն որոշակի հնարավորություններ, ռեսուրսներ, ամենակարևորը՝ պատասխանատվություն վերցնելու, ցանկություն և չեն խրտնում իշխանության գալու մտքից։

Այս օրերին ոչ միայն Հայաստանում, այլ նաև արտերկրում լուրջ հանդիպումներ են ընթանում, թե՛ դեսպանության ներկայացուցիչների, թե՛ ամերիկյան էմիսարների մակարդակով։ Միացյալ Նահանգները ցանկանում է հակախաղ ստեղծել ռուսներին։
