«Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունում նոր սկանդալ է հասունանում, այս անգամ կապված կուսակցության մերձավոր օլիգարխների՝ հատկապես պատգամավորների հետ։ Բանն այն, որ Փաշինյանը մեկ-երկու մեծահարուստների բերել էր Ազգային ժողով, նախ սեփական կուսակիցների կարիքները հոգալու, ապա և նրանց միջոցով զգալի գումարներ աշխատելու նպատակով։

Պարզվում է, որ խորհրդարանական արտահերթ ընտրություններից 2 տարի անց, Փաշինյանն առանձնապես որևէ դրական դիվիդենտներ չի ստացել ո՛չ Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանից, ո՛չ էլ Գուրգեն Արսենյանից, վերջինս առանց այն էլ հայտնվել է լուրջ միջպետական սկանդալի կենտրոնում, նրա ագրեմանը Ռուսաստանը մերժում է։ Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանն էլ հրաժարվել էր աջակցել Փաշինյանի թեկանծուին Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններում՝ լուրջ խնդիրներ հարուցելով գործող իշխանությունների համար։ ՔՊ-ն ստիպված էր կոալիցիոն համաձայնության գնալ «Հանրապետություն» կուսակցության հետ և նույնիսկ այդ փաստը չի փրկել հնարավոր բոլոր խնդիրներից։

Մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ՝ Փաշինյանը ցանկացել է, թե՛ Սուքիասյանին և թե՛ Գուրգեն Արսենյանին պարտադրել վայր դնել մանդատները, սակայն այս անգամ նրա այս ցանկության դեմ դուրս են եկել անգամ իր բավականին հին կուսակցականները, որոնք հայտարարել են, թե անհնար է Սուքիասյանին և Արսենյանին մանդատաթափ անելը։ Փաշինյանը լուրջ կասկածներ ունի, որ առնվազն Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանը ֆինանսական աջակցություն է տալիս պատգամավորներին՝ այդ կերպ իր շուրջ համախմբելով ՔՊ առաջնորդից դժգոհներին և իր համար հավատարիմների բանակ ստեղծելով։ Գաղտնիք չէ, որ Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանը քաղաքական լուրջ ամբիցիաներ ունի, ընդհուպ մտածում է Փաշինյանին պաշտոնանկ անելուց հետո վարչապետի պաշտոնը ստանձնելու մասին, և այս տեղեկությունները հասել են նաև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, ով ի ծնե կասկածամիտ լինելով, այժմ ավելի ու ավելի է ներփակվել և տարբեր միջոցներով փորձում է ճնշել սեփական կուսակիցներին, նրանց պարտադրել վայր դնել մանդատները, այլապես իրավապահներին և պետեկամուտների կոմիտեին «քսի» կտա Սուքիասյանի և Արսենյանի դեմ, հատկապես, որ ՊԵԿ նախագահի պաշտոնում Ռուստամ Բադասյանն է, որը Տիգրան Ավինյանի մտերիմն է, իսկ Ավինյանի և Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանի հակամարտության մասին վաղուց է հայտնի։
