Պատմաբան, քաղաքագիտության դոկտոր Արմեն Այվազյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

«Օրերս Թուրքիան և ԱՄՆ-ն Սև ծովում բավականին խոշոր համատեղ ռազմածովային զորավարժություններ են անցկացրել (https://factor.am/337803.html)։ Սա առանձնապես արտառոց բան չէ։ Ուշագրավն այն է, որ Վաշինգտոնում ՌԴ դեսպանությունը մի ջղաձգային հայտարարություն է տարածել, որում քննադատել է միայն ամերիկացիներին, սակայն՝ ո՛չ թուրքերին (https://twitter.com/RusEmbUSA/status/1359625291350626310)։
Ըստ երևույթին, ռուսները շատ կցանկանային, որպեսզի Սև ծովում թուրքերի հետ ոչ թե ամերիկացիները համատեղ զորավարժություններ անցկացնեին, այլ հենց իրենք։ Այո, ինչպես ժամանակին նկատել էր Ուինստոն Չերչիլը, Ռուսաստանն ամենից առավել հարգում և հաշվի է նստում ուժի հետ։ Եվ Թուրքիայի մեջ, նա, ցավոք, այդ ուժը տեսնում է։ Բայց Թուրքիային ԱՄՆ-ից ու ՆԱՏՕ-ից պոկելու (այնուհետև գուցեև նրա հետ ռազմական սեփական դաշինք ստեղծելու) Ռուսաստանի ներկա ղեկավարության բոլոր անհեռատես ջանքերն ու ճիգերն ապարդյուն են անցնելու։ Այնպես, ինչպես ապարդյուն անցան ու փշուր-փշուր եղան 1939-1941 թթ. հիտլերական Գերմանիայի հետ դաշնակցելու Խորհրդային Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարության ջանքերն ու ճիգերը։ Ու մի գեղեցիկ օր թուրքերի հարցում ՌԴ-ն կանգնելու է կոտրած տաշտակի առջև։ Ի դեպ, այդ օրը հեռու չէ։
Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է ՆԱՏՕ-ական շրջանակներում զարգացող թուրք-ամերիկյան ռազմական դաշինքին, ապա այն շարունակվում և զարգանում է՝ ի հեճուկս ռուսների։ Թե ու՞մ դաշնակիցն է Թուրքիան՝ այդ մասին պարզ ու հստակ արտահայտվում են թուրք և ամերիկացի զորավարներն ու ադմիրալները։ Ահավասիկ, ԱՄՆ Վեցերորդ նավատորմի հրամանատար, փոխծովակալ Ջին Բլեքի շուրթերով արտահայտված ամերիկյան պաշտոնական դիրքորոշումը.
«Թուրքիան շատ բարձրարժեք դաշնակից է և ՆԱՏՕ-ի ծովային գործընկերը, ում հետ Սև ծովում ԱՄՆ նավատորմի համատեղ ռազմագործողությունները ամրապնդում են ՆԱՏՕ-ական դաշինքի ունեցած անհամաչափ առավելությունը» (https://twitter.com/USNavyEurope/status/1359429285325516801):
Նույնանման մի կարծիք էլ արտահայտել է Թուրքիայում ԱՄՆ-ի դեսպան Դեյվիդ Սաթթերվիլդը (https://twitter.com/USNavyEurope/status/1359428583224193024)։
Ցանկալի է, որպեսզի այս իրողությունները հաշվի առնեն նաև հայաստանյան քաղաքական ուժերը, մանավանդ նրանք, ովքեր սին հույսեր են տածում առ այն, որ Ռուսաստանից պոկվելու դեպքում, ԱՄՆ-ն ու ՆԱՏՕ-ն Հայաստանին վազեվազ կտրամադրեն անվտանգության երաշխիքներ։ Ցավոք սրտի, չեն տրամադրի, այլ կպարտադրեն անել այն, ինչ ցանկանում են թուրքերը։
Ասածս ամենևին չի նշանակում, որ մեր ցանկացած չափով անվտանգության երաշխիքներ մեզ կտրամադրի Ռուսասատանը։ Վերջին պատերազմը ցույց տվեց, որ դա էլ կարող է այդպես չլինել։ Պարզապես, մեզ համար մեկ ծակ նավից (ՌԴ-ՀԱՊԿ անբարեհույս «դաշինքից») մեկ ուրիշ՝ ավելի ծակ նավ (ԱՄՆ-ՆԱՏՕ չլինելիք «դաշինք») ցատկելը կարող է այնքան էլ խոհեմ քայլ չլինել։ Պետք է, հետևաբար, օր առաջ կենտրոնանալ թուրք-ադրբեջանական ագրեսիան զսպելու սեփական միջոցների զարգացման և եղած բոլոր միջազգային մեխանիզմների օգտագործման վրա։ Քանի դեռ ժամանակ մի փոքր դեռ մնացել է»։
