Բոգոտայում կայացել է երեխաների նկատմամբ բռնության կանխարգելման առաջին համաշխարհային նախարարական համաժողովը։ Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության տվյալներով՝ աշխարհում երեխաների կեսից ավելին՝ ավելի քան 1 միլիարդ երեխա, ամեն տարի բռնության է ենթարկվում: Համաժողովի արդյունքում ավելի քան 100 երկիր պարտավորվել է կանխել երեխաների նկատմամբ բռնությունը, իսկ 9 պետություն խոստացել է արգելել ֆիզիկական պատիժը. գրում է kommersant.ru-ն։

Ըստ հիմնական վիճակագրական ցուցանիշների՝ ամեն տարի 2-17 տարեկան երեխաների կեսից ավելին ենթարկվում է բռնության որևէ ձևի: Հինգ երեխայից երեքը տանը պարբերաբար պատժվում են ֆիզիկական ուժի կիրառմամբ: Յուրաքանչյուր հինգերորդ աղջիկը և յուրաքանչյուր յոթերորդ տղան ենթարկվում է սեռական բռնության: Երեխաների 25%-50%-ը դառնում է ահաբեկման, բուլլինգի թիրախ:

Համաժողովի արդյունքում կազմվել է փաստաթուղթ մինչև 2030 թվականն ընկած ժամանակահատվածի համար՝ պետությունների համար սահմանված նպատակներով և խնդիրներով, որոնց արդյունքում փորձ է արվելու նվազեցնել երեխաների նկատմամբ բռնության մակարդակը:

Մամուլի հաղորդագրության մեջ ասվում է, որ Բուրունդիի, Չեխիայի, Գամբիայի, Ղրղզստանի, Պանամայի, Շրի Լանկայի, Ուգանդայի և Տաջիկստանի իշխանությունները պարտավորվել են արգելել երեխաների ֆիզիկական պատիժը ցանկացած հանգամանքներում։ Նիգերիայի կառավարությունը խոստացել է արգելել ֆիզիկական պատիժը դպրոցներում:

Երկօրյա համաժողովը կազմակերպել են Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը, ՄԱԿ-ը և ՄԱԿ-ի մանկական հիմնադրամը (ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ): Դրան մասնակցել են 130 պետությունների կառավարությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, այդ թվում՝ 90 նախարարներ։

2024 թվականին, ՄԱԿ-ի գնահատականներով, աշխարհում մինչև 15 տարեկան 2,04 միլիարդ երեխա կա։ Անչափահասների բաժինը կազմում է մոլորակի ընդհանուր բնակչության մոտ 25%-ը։
