«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Երբ երկրում հետընտրական շրջանը մեկնարկում է աննախադեպ քաղաքական լարվածությամբ, իսկ խաղի կանոնները սկսում են թելադրվել բացառապես ուժային դիրքերից, հասարակությունը կանգնում է համակարգային ճգնաժամի առաջ։ Իրավիճակը, երբ ընդդիմադիր խոշորագույն ուժի առաջնորդը հայտնվում է տնային կալանքի տակ, իսկ իշխող վերնախավը հրապարակայնորեն սպառնում է պատժել ու բանտարկել բոլոր հիմնական հակառակորդներին, խախտում է քաղաքական մրցակցության տարրական նորմերը։ Ավելին, երբ նախընտրական ծրագրերով թիրախավորվում են սահմանադրական պաշտպանություն ունեցող հոգևոր ու կրոնական կառույցները, իսկ կենտրոնական ընտրական մարմիններն ու դատարանները հետընտրական մանիպուլ յացիաներով զրկում են ուժերից մեկին խորհրդարանական մանդատներից, օրենքի գերակայությունը դադարում է գործել։ Պատգամավորական անձեռնմխելիության կամայական չեղարկումը, ընդդիմադիր գործիչների ու նրանց սեփականության դեմ սկսված իրավական արշավները, ինչպես նաև պետական մեդիայի ու հրահանգավորվող փորձագիտական դաշտի միակողմանի քարոզչությունը փաստում են մեկ բան՝ պետական ապարատն ամբողջությամբ լծվել է անձնիշխանության պահպանմանը։

Այս ծանր պայմաններում ընդդիմադիր դաշտը, կարծես թե, սկսել է ելքեր որոնել ստեղծված իրավիճակից։ Այդ հնարավոր քայլերի ու ռազմավարության մասին որոշակի փակագծեր երկու օր առաջ բացահայտեց Սամվել Կարապետյանը։ Նա նշեց, որ շուտով նախաձեռնում է ընդդիմադիր ուժերի լայն կոնսոլիդացիա, որն ուղեկցվելու է նաև հանրահավաքային ակտիվ պայքարով, և արդեն օրեր անց հանդես կգան մեծ հանրահավաք հրավիրելու մասին հայտարարությամբ։

Ստեղծված իրավիճակում, ըստ էության, ձևավորվել է երկու հիմնական ճանապարհ, որոնցով պիտի ընթանա քաղաքական պայքարը, և ինչպես ցույց են տալիս զարգացումները, ընդդիմությունն ընտրել է դրանց զուգահեռ կիրառման տակտիկան։

Առաջին ուղին իրավական գործընթացների շարունակականությունն է։ Չնայած դատախազության և դատարանների կողմից իրականացվող բացահայտ ընտրողական արդարադատությանը, իրավական բոլոր ատյաններով անցնելը, բողոքարկումներն ու օրենսդրական փաստարկումները մնում են անհրաժեշտություն։ Սա կարևոր է թե՛ ներքին հանրությանը, թե՛ միջազգային դիտորդներին իշխող համակարգի կամայականություններն ու ապօրինությունները փաստագրված ներկայացնելու համար։

Երկրորդ և առավել վճռորոշ ճանապարհը փողոցային ճնշման կտրուկ մեծացումն է, ինչի մասին էլ հենց ազդարարեց Սամվել Կարապետյանը։ Երբ սահմանադրական ու խորհրդարանական խողովակները բռնի ուժով սահմանափակվում են, ուղիղ ժողովրդավարությունն ու հանրային զանգվածային օրինական դիմադրությունը դառնում են այն միակ ազդեցիկ գործիքը, որը կարող է ստիպել վարչական մեքենային՝ հաշվի նստել հասարակության իրական պահանջների հետ և կանգնեցնել պետության սահուն անցումը դեպի տոտալ ավտորիտարիզմի։
