Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն Ազգային ժողովում, ըստ էության, հաստատեց այն տեղեկությունները, որ պատերազմի օրերին, մինչև նոյեմբերի 9-ը, պատերազմը կանգնեցնելու հնարավորություն եղել է։

Իհարկե, իր ոճին բնորոշ ձևով, նաև փորձում էր մանիպուլյացիաների գնալ, թե իբր դրանից առաջ էլ նույն տարբերակն է եղել։ ՉԵՄ ՀԱՎԱՏՈՒՄ։ ՈՒՂՂԱԿԻ չի կարող նման բան լինել։

Ո՞նց կարող էր Ադրբեջանն առաջարկել նույն փաստաթուղթը, երբ միայն ճեղքում ուներ Ջեբրայիլի ու Թալիշի ուղղությամբ՝ ճեղքում, բայց ոչ վերահսկողություն շրջանի նկատմամբ, և այն ժամանակ, երբ արդեն վերահսկում էր Ջեբրայիլը, Ֆիզուլին, Զանգելանը, Կուբաթլուն, Թալիշն ու Մատաղիսը, Հադրութի շրջանը (բացառությամբ մի գյուղի), Ասկերանի ու Մարտունու շրջանի տարբեր բնակավայրեր․․․ Շուշին։

Եթե զուտ տրամաբանությամբ առաջնորդվենք՝ մի կողմ դնենք այդ օրերին առկա տեղեկությունները, նույնիսկ այն, որ պատերազմից մի քանի օր հետո ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարը, ապա դրանից մի քանի օր հետո՝ ՌԴ նախագահը, ՀՐԱՊԱՐԱԿԱՅԻՆ ձևով, նոյեմբերի 9-ի ստորագրվածից ակնհայտ լավ առաջարկ ներկայացրեցին, արդեն իսկ խոսում է այն մասին, որ պատերազմը կարող էր ավարտվեր ոչ թե 44-րդ, այլ 6,7, 8-րդ օրը։

Այդ ժամանակ չէինք կորցնի Շուշին, հարակից գյուղերը, Հադրութի շրջանը, Ասկերանի վերին ենթաշրջանի գյուղերը, հատվածներ Մարտունու շրջանից, Մարտակերտի շրջանի Մատաղիս գյուղը, էլ չեմ խոսում Լաչինի միջանցքի չափի, ՀՀ տարածքով Ադրբեջանի հարավային շրջանները Նախիջևանի հետ կապող մայրուղու մասին։

Իսկ ամենակարևորը՝ եթե շուտ կանգնեցվեր պատերազմը, իսկ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հաստատում է, որ դրա հնարավորությունը եղել է, ապա կունենայինք 10-12 անգամի քիչ զոհեր, վիրավորներ, գերեվարվածներ։
