Իսրայելը վերացրել է Իրանի կողմից սպառնացող միջուկային Հոլոքոստի վտանգը։ Այս մասին Նեթանյահուն ասել է Երուսաղեմում կայացած պետական սգո արարողության ժամանակ՝ նվիրված պատերազմներում զոհվածների և ահաբեկչությունների զոհերի հիշատակի օրվան, հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

Ըստ նրա վարկածի՝ հակառակ դեպքում Իսրայելին կարող էր սպասվել Հոլոքոստի մասշտաբների աղետ՝ իբր միջուկային զենքի կիրառմամբ։

«Իրանում այաթոլլաների վարչակարգը ծրագրում էր ևս մեկ Հոլոքոստ։ Նա մտադրվել էր մեզ ոչնչացնել միջուկային զենքով։ Ռումբեր և հազարավոր բալիստիկ հրթիռներ։ Եթե մենք չգործեինք էկզիստենցիալ սպառնալիքի դեմ, եթե մենք չգործեինք վճռականությամբ և քաջությամբ, ապա մահվան վայրերի անունները՝ Նաթանզ, Ֆորդո, Սպահան (Իրանի քաղաքներ, որտեղ գտնվում են միջուկային օբյեկտները), կարող էին դասվել Հոլոքոստի մահվան ճամբարների անունների կողքին՝ Օսվենցիմ, Մայդանեկ, Տրեբլինկա», - պնդել է Նեթանյահուն։

«Բայց դա տեղի չունեցավ, որովհետև մեր մեծ ընկերոջ՝ ԱՄՆ-ի հետ միասին, մենք նախապես ջախջախեցինք իրանական վարչակարգի ոչնչացման մեքենան։ Մենք վերացրինք մեզ համար սպառնացող անմիջական էկզիստենցիալ վտանգը», - հայտարարել է նա։
