Վրաստանի Ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը կուժեղացնի երկիր ներմուծվող ապրանքների վրա սահմանված մաքսային գոտիների վերահսկողությունը, հիմնականում՝ տրանսպորտային միջոցների մեջ թաքցված թմրանյութերի և հոգեակտիվ նյութերի հայտնաբերման համար, հաղորդում է «Նովոստի-Գրուզիա»-ն։

Այդ նպատակով Ֆինանսների նախարարության հետ համատեղ կստեղծվի թմրանյութերի անօրինական շրջանառության կանխարգելման, հայտնաբերման և ճնշման հատուկ կենտրոն։

Վրաստանի Ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը նշում է, որ ամեն տարի երկրի մաքսային գոտիներով վերաարտահանման համար անցնում է ավելի քան 100,000 տրանսպորտային միջոց։

Օգտագործված մեքենաների ներմուծումը տարեցտարի աճում է և ավելի ու ավելի հաճախակի են դառնում արգելված նյութերի անօրինական տեղափոխման համար տրանսպորտային միջոցների օգտագործման դեպքերը։

«Հաշվի առնելով առկա խնդիրները, անհրաժեշտ է անհապաղ ուժեղացնել մաքսային վերահսկողությունը և բարձրացնել պետության ինստիտուցիոնալ կարողությունները՝ այդ հանցագործությունների դեմ պայքարելու համար», - հայտարարել է Վրաստանի Ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը։
