UC Berkeley, Stanford, Visa Innovation Center and Much More: a Unique Opportunity for 10 Students from Armenia
Socity10 students from several universities in Armenia had the opportunity to visit the U.S. and attend a short educational program at UC Berkeley this summer, based on the results of the student contest “My Armenia, My Future” conducted by Ameriabank and Visa.
As part of the educational program the students attended lectures at one of the world’s best universities UC Berkeley, completed a Stanford campus tour, participated in interactive classes and groupwork, visited the world’s big tech firms and Visa Innovation Center.
The contest was announced by Ameriabank and Visa for students of all public and private universities of Armenia as part of the “My Ameria, My Armenia” campaign. The purpose of the contest was to identify and encourage proactive students with flexible and creative mindset, who care for the future of Armenia.
Under the contest “My Armenia, My Future”, in addition to the 10 packages to attend a short-term educational program at UC Berkeley, the students were competing also for 160 scholarships and funding from Ameriabank for the 3 best projects titled “My Armenia, My Future”.
