Մհեր Ավետիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․
 
Ժողովուրդ ջան, կամ մենք պետք է ընդունենք, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները և հատկապես նախագահ Թրամփը այնքան են սիրում հայ ժողովրդին, Հայաստանը, որ օր ու գիշեր մտածում են, թե ինչպես խաղաղություն բերեն մեր ժողովրդի ու պետության համար, կամ մենք պետք է հավատանք, որ նախագահ Թրամփը իսկապես ծանր է տանում, երբ մարդիկ են մահանում, ինչը մենք տեսնում ենք, օրինակ՝ Գազայի դեպքում, մենք տեսանք, թե ինչպես Միացյալ Նահանգները ռմբակոծեցին մեր հարևան Իրանը, կամ մենք պետք է իսկապես լուրջ անալիտիկայով զբաղվենք և փորձենք հասկանալ ամենակարևոր հարցը։ Իսկ ամենակարևոր հարցը, որը պետք է քննարկել, դա հետևյալն է.
 
Այն ամենը, ինչ տեղի է ունենում Հայաստանի շուրջ, այդ գործընթացում ո՞րն է Միացյալ Նահանգների շահը, ինչ շահեր են հետապնդում մեր տարածաշրջանում և Հայաստանում Միացյալ Նահանգները և Հավաքական Արևմուտքը։ Սա այն հարցն է, որը պետք է այս օրերին լիներ Հայաստանի քաղաքական ուժերի և անալիտիկների քննարկման օրակարգում, որը, ցավոք սրտի, կարծես թե բացակայում է քննարկումների շարքից։
 
Ես առաջարկում եմ՝ մենք լուրջ վերաբերվենք այս հարցին և փորձենք, քննարկելով, հասկանալ, թե որն է Միացյալ Նահանգների շահը այն ամենում, ինչ տեղի է ունենում մեր պետության շուրջ, և կխնդրեի գոնե իրենց վերլուծաբաններին համարող քաղաքագետներին կամ քաղաքական վերլուծաբաններին չպնդել, որ Թրամփն այս ամենն անում է, որպեսզի Նոբելյան մրցանակ ստանա։
