Ալիևը իր ցինիկ պահվածքի դիմաց Հայաստանից միշտ երկու մեսիջ պետք է հստակ ստանա։
 
Առաջին՝ «այո՛, մենք ուզում ենք խաղաղություն», և երկրորդ՝ որ եթե Ադրբեջանը հարձակվի Հայաստանի վրա, մենք մեր բոլոր տարաձայնությունները թողնելու ենք մի կողմ, անկախ այն բանից՝ ով է այս պահին երկրի ղեկավարը, համախմբվելու ենք նրա շուրջ և կենաց-մահու կռիվ ենք տալու մեր պետականությունը պաշտպանելու համար։
Իսկ թե ինչպես հասնել խաղաղության, դա արդեն քաղաքական, աշխարհաքաղաքական և գաղափարական բանավեճի թեմա պետք է դառնա հայաստանյան ներքաղաքական կյանքում, բայց ոչ թե անձնական շահեր կամ քաղաքական ամբիցիաներ առաջ տանելու, այլ՝ իսկապես երկրի անվտանգության խնդիրը լուծելու օրակարգի շուրջ։
 
Երբեք չեմ կարող հասկանալ այն մարդկանց, ովքեր քաղաքական տարաձայնություններից ելնելով ուրախանում են այն փաստի վրա, որ Ալիևը Արցախում նստած փորձում է ծաղրել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, քանզի իրականում Ալիևը ոչ թե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին է փորձում ծաղրել, այլ ողջ հայ ժողովրդին։ Սրանից մենք պետք է հետևություններ անենք որպես ժողովուրդ, իսկ հետևությունը մեկն է. Ալիևը խոսում է մի կողմից իբր թե խաղաղության մասին, մյուս կողմից Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է արագորեն զինվել՝ գնելով ժամանակակից զինտեխնիկա, և առաջ է քաշում «Արևմտյան Ադրբեջան» կեղծ թեզը, իբր թե այսօրվա Հայաստանը ստեղծվել է Արևմտյան Ադրբեջանի պատմական հողերի վրա։ Սա նշանակում է, որ Ալիևը իրականում պատրաստվում է պատերազմի և պատրաստվում է հնարավորության դեպքում գրավել ողջ Հայաստանը։ Սա նշանակում է, որ մենք՝ որպես ժողովուրդ, մեր քաղաքական տարաձայնությունները պետք է փորձենք մի կողմ դնել և գտնել Հայաստանի անվտանգության կառուցման բանալին։ Մենք պարտավոր ենք գտնելու այն անվտանգության ճարտարապետության մոդելը, որը մեր տարածաշրջանում կձևավորի խաղաղություն և թույլ չի տա Ադրբեջանին նոր և կործանարար պատերազմ սկսել Հայաստանի դեմ։ Կարծում եմ՝ մենք՝ որպես ժողովուրդ, այս մտահոգություններով պետք է ապրենք, հնարավորինս փորձելով ներքին տարաձայնությունները դնել մի կողմ։
 
Ես նորից եմ ուզում կրկնել. երբ մենք՝ որպես պետություն և ժողովուրդ, ունենք արտաքին մարտահրավերներ և թշնամանք, ներսում քաղաքական խրամատներ միմյանց դեմ իրավունք չունենք ստեղծելու։ Մենք պետք է ունենանք մեկ խրամատ, որը պաշտպանում է մեր պետականությունը, մեր երկիրը օտարներից։ Եվ դարձյալ ուզում եմ կրկնել, որ մեր տարածաշրջանում Հայաստանի անվտանգության խնդիրը լուծելու համար Հայաստանը պարտավոր է կանգնել Ռուսաստանի կողքին։ Հայաստանը պարտավոր է ոչ միայն դուրս չգալ ՀԱՊԿ-ից, այլև ստեղծել քաղաքական մեթոդներ, որպեսզի ստիպի Ադրբեջանին ևս դառնալ ՀԱՊԿ-ի անդամ։
 
Իրավիճակը բավականին բարդ է, սիրելի ժողովուրդ, և մենք պարտավոր ենք սթափվել էմոցիաներից, դուրս գալու մեր ժողովրդի միջև լարվածությունից, ներքաղաքական պայքարում ևս լարվածությունը թուլացնելու և խելք-խելքի տալու, հասկանալու, թե ինչպես ենք լուծելու Հայաստանի անվտանգության խնդիրը…
