«Ռուբինի» և Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականի կիսապաշտպան Ուգոչուկվու Իվուն «РБ Спорт»-ին տված հարցազրույցում անդրադարձել է ազգային թիմի հեռանկարներին, ինչպես նաև թիմի նոր գլխավոր մարզիչ Ջոն վան’տ Սխիպի մասին:

«Ես իսկապես հույս ունեմ և հավատում եմ, որ մի օր հայ ֆուտբոլիստները կխաղան աշխարհի կամ Եվրոպայի առաջնություններում: Կարող եմ հավաստիացնել, որ մեր թիմը պայքարելու է հունգարացիների, իռլանդացիների և պորտուգալացիների դեմ։ Այո, եզրափակիչ դուրս գալը դժվար կլինի, բայց սա ֆուտբոլ է, ամենաանկանխատեսելի մարզաձևը։ Մենք տեսանք, թե ինչպես Վրաստանը նվաճեց Եվրոպայի առաջնության ուղեգիր և հասավ մինչև 1/8 եզրափակիչ: Այնպես որ, կարծում եմ, որ Հայաստանի հավաքականը կարող է հասնել աշխարհի 2026 թ. առաջնության եզրափակիչ: Անհնարին ոչինչ չեմ տեսնում, որ հայ ֆուտբոլիստները մեկ տարի անց հանդես գան աշխարհի առաջնությունում»,- ասել է Իվուն:

Ֆուտբոլիստն անդրադարձել է նաև Ազգերի լիգայի փլեյ-օֆֆ փուլում Վրաստանից կրած պարտությանը:

«Ինձ համար շատ դժվար է խոսել Վրաստանից կրած պարտության մասին։ Բայց չպետք է մոռանալ, որ Հայաստանի հավաքականը նոր գլխավոր մարզիչ ունի, ով դեռ այնքան մարզումներ չի անցկացրել, որպեսզի անմիջապես սկսի լավ արդյունքներ ցույց տալ։ Ավելին, բազմաթիվ հայ ֆուտբոլիստներ վնասվածքներ ստացան և բաց թողեցին վրացիների հետ հանդիպումները։ Վրաստանի հավաքականից ընդհանուր 1:9 հաշվով կրած պարտությունը ցույց չի տալիս Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի մակարդակը։ Հիշենք, օրինակ, թե ինչպես Բրազիլիան աշխարհի առաջնությունում 1:7 հաշվով պարտվեց Գերմանիային։ Նման բաներ երբեմն պատահում են ֆուտբոլում։ Իհարկե, Հայաստանի հավաքականի բոլոր ֆուտբոլիստները Թբիլիսիում կայացած հանդիպումից հետո հանդերձարանում ընկճված ու տխուր էին։ Ֆուտբոլիստները կարևոր զրույց են ունեցել գլխավոր մարզչի հետ: Եվ հավատացեք, որ հայ ֆուտբոլիստները մտադիր են վերականգնվել Վրաստանից կրած պարտությունից հետո»,- ընդգծել է խաղացողը։

Խոսելով նիդեռլանդցի մասնագետի մասին՝ Իվուն ասել է. «Ես պարզապես խաղացող եմ, ով պետք է մարզվի ու ֆուտբոլ խաղա: Թերևս իմ գործը չէ գլխավոր մարզչի աշխատանքը գնահատելը։ Բայց ամեն դեպքում, բոլորը գիտեն, որ Ջոն Վան՛տ Սխիպը մեծ մասնագետ է, ով նախկինում գլխավորել է «Այաքսը» և աշխատել Եվրոպայում։ Ես հավատում եմ, որ նա շատ օգուտ կբերի ողջ հայկական ֆուտբոլին»։
