Արարատի բաժնի համայնքային ոստիկանները ստացել էին օպերատիվ տեղեկություն, որ Երևանի Րաֆֆու փողոցի բնակիչ 34-ամյա երիտասարդը, որը մեքենայով գտնվում էր ՈԿՖ բանավանում, իր մոտ և մեքենայում պահում և օգտագործում է թմրանյութ: Այս մասին հայտնում են ՆԳՆ ոստիկանությունից:

Մարտի 5-ն, ժամը 20.50-ին, բանավանից ցեմենտի գործարան տանող ճանապարհին համայնքային ոստիկանները ձերբակալեցին և, «Հյունդայի» մակնիշի մեքենայով հանդերձ, բաժին տեղափոխեցին 34-ամյա երևանցուն: Պարզվեց, որ պահելուց և օգտագործելուց բացի երիտասարդը նաև իրացնում է թմրանյութ:
Խուզարկությամբ նրա մոտ հայտնաբերվեց կտորե երկու տոպրակ, որոնցից մեկը՝ 40 կարմիր, մյուսը` 24 կապույտ կպչուն ժապավենի փաթեթներով: Սրանց մեջ եղած դեղնականաչավուն զանգվածի ընդհանուր քաշը մոտ 114 գրամ էր: Հայտնաբերվեցին նաև նույն զանգվածով թղթե փաթեթ և մոխրացած հետքերով կաթուցիչ:

Երիտասարդը հայտնեց, որ մարիխուանան ձեռք է բերել «Տելեգրամ» հավելվածի միջոցով` դրանք տարբեր վայրերում տեղադրելու և գումար վաստակելու նպատակով, իսկ թղթե փաթեթն ու կաթուցիչն իրենն են:

Մեքենան տեղափոխվել է պահպանվող հատուկ տարածք, իսկ երիտասարդը ներկայացվել է Վեդիի քննչական բաժին, որտեղ նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ` քրեական օրենսգրքի 393-րդ հոդվածի հատկանիշներով:
