2003 թվականի Սեպտեմբերի 20-ին է ծնվել Նարեկ Ստեփանյանը։ Մոր մահից վեց ամիս անց մեկնել է ծառայության։ Բանակ է զորակոչվել 2021 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 30-ին։ Ծառայել է Սյունիքում։

«Ասում էր՝ շուտ ծառայեմ, գամ հասնեմ, մենակ չմնաս։ Այն էլ այսպես եղավ։ Գոհ էր շատ, լավ ծառայում էր, դիպուկահար էին տվել։ Հետո բարձրացավ դիրքեր»,-պատմում է հայրը։

Ասում է՝ որդին չպետք է դիրքեր բարձրանար, քանի որ միակողմանի ծնողազուրկ էր։ 

«Իր մամայի տարին էր, թույլ էին տվել, եկել էր տուն, գնաց ու 13 օր հետո այսպես եղավ։ Սեպտեմբերի 13-ի լուսադեմին զանգեց, երկար խոսեցինք։ Խաբեց, ասաց՝ մեզ մոտ չի շատ հեռու է, կրակաոցները հազիվ ենք լսում։ Էլ լուր չստացա, գնացինք Կապան, բայց 4-5 օր հետո նոր տեղեկացա, որ բերել են Երևան։ Դիրքում 4 հոգով էին մնացել, 4-ն էլ զոհվել են»,-ասաց հայրը։
