«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

 «Ոչ ոք չգիտի, թե ով է կանգնած Սիրիայի նոր իշխանությունների հետևում, բայց ես գիտեմ՝ Թուրքիան է, նա է կանգնած այս ամենի հետևում: Նրանք դա ուզում էին հազարավոր տարիներ, ստացան դա: Մարդիկ, որոնք մտան Սիրիա, վերահսկվում են Թուրքիայի կողմից»,  - ասել է ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը: Նա Թուրքիայի սիրիական քաղաքականությունը «թշնամական կլանում» է որակել:
 
Սա, իհարկե, նորություն չէ, սակայն ուշագրավ է, որ այդ մասին բարձրաձայնում է ԱՄՆ նորընտիր նախագահը: Ակնհայտ է, որ Թուրքիան ձգտում է ստեղծել (վերականգնել) «նոր Օսմանյան կայսրություն» և փորձում է Մերձավոր Արևելքից դուրս մղել ՌԴ-ին և Իրանին։ Մյուս կողմից՝ Արևմուտքի և Իսրայելի շահերից է բխում Մեծ Մերձավոր Արևելքից իրանական և ռուսական ռազմաքաղաքական ազդեցության դուրսմղումը կամ նվազեցումը։
 
Այս թեմային նախօրեին անդրադարձել է նաև «Հանրապետության հրապարակ» տելեգրամյան ալիքը՝ նշելով, որ Անկարան փորձում է Սիրիան դարձնել սեփական պանթուրքական և նեոօսմանական ծրագրերի կյանքի կոչման պլացդարմ, ինչպես նաև, հենվելով Սիրիայի նոր թուրքամետ իշխանությունների վրա, չեզոքացնել Քրդական բանվորական կուսակցությունը, որի ստորաբաժանումները տեղակայված են Սիրիայի հյուսիսում. «Թուրքիան Բաշար ալ Ասադի տապալումից ստանում է աշխարհաքաղաքական դիվիդենտներ։ Նախ՝ Թուրքիայի տարածքում ապաստան գտած 4 միլիոն սիրիացի փախստականներին աստիճանաբար վերադարձնելու է Սիրիա՝ ուժեղացնելով սուննիական ազդեցությունն այդ երկրում։ Երկրորդ՝ Սիրիայում իշխանության են եկել Թուրքիային դաշնակից խմբավորումներ, ինչով Թուրքիան ապահովագրեց իր հարավային սահմանները։ Եվ ամենակարևորը՝ Անկարան չեզոքացնելու է քրդական գործոնը Սիրիայում՝ կանխելով Քրդստան պետության ստեղծումը, որը կարող էր ընդգրկել նաև Թուրքիայի արևելյան՝ քրդաբնակ շրջանները»:
 
Ինչ վերաբերում է ՀՀ-ին և հայկական շահերին, ապա, ըստ հեղինակների, Հալեպում և մյուս հայաբնակ քաղաքներում թուրքական և իսլամիստական ազդեցության ուժեղացումը հանգեցնելու է Սիրիայի հայ համայնքի արտագաղթին։ «Սիրիայում հայկական ներկայությունը կարևոր էր հայկական շահերի տեսանկյունից, սակայն Թուրքիան իսլամիստների ձեռքերով ամեն ինչ անելու է՝ սիրիահայերին դուրս մղելու համար։ Մերձավոր Արևելքում հայ համայնքները Հայաստանարաբական աշխարհ շփումներում կապող օղակ էին, սակայն Լիբանանում պատերազմը, Սիրիայում քաղաքացիական պատերազմն ու Ասադի տապալումը վտանգելու են հայկական համայնքների գոյությունն այդ տարածաշրջանում»,-գրում է ալիքը՝ հավելելով, որ Թուրքիայի պանթուրքական և նեոօսմանական ծրագրերն ազգային անվտանգության սպառնալիք են նաև Հայաստանի համար, քանի որ Անկարան և Բաքուն ցանկանում են ստանալ, այսպես կոչված, «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը», որը Մեծ Թուրանի լոգիստիկան է։
 
Ըստ վերլուծաբանների, Հայաստանը պետք է ամրապնդի կապերն այն երկրների հետ, որոնց համար նույնպես պանթուրքիզմն ու նեոօսմանականությունը սպառնալիք են, և միասնական ճակատ ձևավորվի Մեծ Թուրանի դեմ։
