Կառավարությունն Ազգային ժողովի քննարկմանը ներկայացրեց Հայաստանի քաղաքացիություն ստանալու և քաղաքացիությունը դադարեցնելու համար սահմանված պետական տուրքի չափերը բարձրացնելու վերաբերյալ օրենքի նախագիծը: 

«Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացիության մասին» օրենքում փոփոխություններ եւ լրացումներ կատարելու մասին և «Պետական տուրքի մասին» օրենքում փոփոխություններ եւ լրացումներ կատարելու մասին օրենքների նախագծերի փաթեթն ԱԺ նիստում ներկայացրեց Ներքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Արմեն Ղազարյանը:

Պետական տուրքի մասին օրենքով սահմանված՝ քաղաքացիության շնորհման և դադարեցման հետ կապված տուրքի սահմանաչափերը չեն փոփոխվել 1997 թվականից ի վեր: 

«Առաջարկում ենք շնորհման համար ներկայիս 1,000 դրամ պետական տուրքի փոխարեն սահմանել 50 հազար դրամ պետական տուրք, իսկ դադարեցման 25 հազար դրամի փոխարեն 150 հազար դրամ պետական տուրք»,-ասաց Ղազարյանը:

Փոխնախարարի խոսքով՝ հաշվի են առել ոչ միայն միջազգային փորձը, այլ նաև այս տարիների ընթացքում տեղի ունեցած գնաճը և այս ծառայության մատուցման վրա ծախսվող գումարների փոփոխությունը:

Ներկայումս քաղաքացիության հետ կապված վարչարարությունն իրականացվում է թղթային տարբերակով: Առաջարկվում է քաղաքացիության գործերի վարման համար ունենալ միասնական էլեկտրոնային համակարգ: Սակայն կպահպանվի քաղաքացիություն հայցող անձի կողմից մեկ անգամ վարչական մարմին այցելելու սկզբունքը:
