Էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությունը հայտնել է, թե Հայաստանը 2024 թվականի հունվար-հունիսին նախորդ տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ տնտեսական ակտիվության էական աճ է գրանցել։ Վերոնշյալ ժամանակահատվածում տնտեսական ակտիվության ցուցանիշը կազմել է 10.4 %: Պնդում են, թե աճ է գրանցվել տնտեսության բոլոր ոլորտներում, ինչը պայմանավորված էր ինչպես ներքին, այնպես էլ արտաքին պահանջարկի աճով։

Իրականում, սակայն, ըստ մասնագետների, Հայաստանի տնտեսությունը ոչ թե 9 տոկոս աճ է գրանցել, այլ 11 տոկոս անկում, իսկ պաշտոնական վիճակագրության ներկայացրած ցուցանիշի հիմնական մասը ոսկու և թանկարժեք քարերի վերաարտահանման հաշվին է գոյացել։ Հատկապես տպավորիչ են արտաքին առևտրի ծավալները, արտահանման աճի 71 տոկոսն ապահովել են ոսկին և թանկարժեք քարերը: Իսկ վիճակագրության ներկայացրած տպավորիչ աճը շատ բանով կապված է ԵԱՏՄ-ին Հայաստանի անդամակցության հետ։ Դա էլ վտանգված է՝ կախված ՀՀ իշխանությունների արտաքին քաղաքականության հետ։ Դեպի Արևմուտք սլացող վարչախումբն առիթը բաց չի թողնում ցեխ արձակելու ՀԱՊԿ-ի դեմ, Փաշինյանն ինքն է հայտարարել, թե դե-ֆակտո կասեցրել են անդամակցությունը։ Մոսկվայից էլ արձագանքում են, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ն լքելու դեպքում Հայաստանին կարող են դուրս թողնել թե՛ ԵԱՏՄ-ից, թե՚ ԱՊՀ-ից։
