«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Ի թիվս այլ, մեղմ ասած, ոչ դրական կողմերի, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կառավարությունը պատմության մեջ կմնա նաև որպես ամենաանհաղորդը։ Թե՛ համաշխարհային, թե՛ տարածաշրջանային գործընթացները սահում են Երևանի կողքով, բայց այնպիսի տպավորություն է, որ դրանք չեն հետաքրքրում օրվա իշխանություններին: Դե, ինչ-որ առումով նաև քաղաքական այլ միավորներին ու հենց հանրությանը։ Իրանն ու Իսրայելն իրար ոչնչացնելու շեմին են, Ուկրաինան ներխուժել է Ռուսաստան, Արևմուտքը սպառնում է պատժամիջոցներ կիրառել Վրաստանի նկատմամբ, Մերձավոր Արևելքում եզդիների նոր ցեղասպանություն է ծրագրվում, Իսրայելն Ադրբեջանից հետ է կանչում իր զինվորականներին կամ, ընդհակառակը, հրթիռներ տեղակայում Նախիջևանում...

Մի խոսքով, տարածաշրջանը փոթորկվում է, իսկ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները, կարծես, քնած են: Ավելի ճիշտ՝ տևական արձակուրդ էին մեկնել՝ բառիս իսկական ու փոխաբերական իմաստով: Պաշտոնական Երևանն իրեն դուրս է դրել տարածաշրջանային բոլոր զարգացումներից, երկրի վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող անձը զբաղված է հեծանվավազքով, փառատոններով, լոբամաքրման ու այլ «խոհարարական», կենցաղային տեսահոլովակներ տարածելով։ Այսինքն, շոուով: Ասես Փաշինյանի բնակավայրը ոչ թե Հայաստանն է, այլ հեռավոր ինչ-որ երջանիկ մի աշխարհ, որը չի ալեկոծվում։ Մյուս կողմից՝ երևի թե Հայաստանի օրվա իշխանությունը լռում է, քանի որ նրա կարծիքը որևէ մեկին չի հուզում, բոլորը գիտեն, որ Հայաստանում որոշումները Փաշինյանը չէ, որ կայացնում է։ Նրա փոխարեն որոշակի կենտրոններում կայացնում են բոլոր որոշումները:

Օրինակ՝ Եվրահանձնաժողովի խոսնակ Պետեր Ստանոն մանրամասն բացատրել է, թե ինչ է նշանակում Հայաստանի հետ Եվրամիության համագործակցությունը։ Ի մասնավորի, նշենք երկու պարզ, հասարակ թեզեր, որոնք համառորեն չեն մտնում ո՛չ իշխանության, ո՛չ հանրության մի որոշակի հատվածի ուղեղը։ Առաջին՝ բանակցությունները ԵՄ-Հայաստան գործընկերության օրակարգի շուրջ արտացոլում են երկու կողմի փոխադարձ ցանկությունն ու կամքը՝ ավելին անելու միասին, սակայն հիմնված ներկայիս հարաբերությունների վրա: Բանակցում են գործընկերության օրակարգի շուրջ, որպեսզի տեսնեն, թե որքան հեռու են հայ գործընկերները ցանկանում գնալ, որքան հեռու են պատրաստ գնալ և համապատասխանեցնել փոխադարձ նպատակները։ Եվ երկրորդ՝ ՀՀ-ԵՄ բանակցությունները որևէ կապ չունեն անդամության թեկնածության հնարավորությունների հետ, դրանք երկու տարբեր բաներ են։ Այլ խոսքով, ԵՄ-Հայաստան բուռն սիրավեպը «ընթացիկ հարաբերությունների» մասին է, «ԶԱԳՍ գնալու» մտադրություն չկա։ Իսկ որո՞նք են ընթացիկ հարաբերությունները:

Թվարկենք մի քանի սկզբունքային գործոններ. Արևմուտքի համար առանցքային հակառուսական դիսկուրսը, ԵՄ դիտորդական առաքելությունը, փոխադարձ առևտուրը։ Առաջին երկու կետով, կարծես, լիակատար փոխըմբռնում կա, երրորդի դեպքում՝ 24 տոկոս անկում։ Փաստացի, ԵՄ-ին այդքանն էլ բավարար է, ինչո՞ւ բացել իր շուկան հայերի համար, եթե առաջին երկու կետերը ձրի էլ անում են։ Իսկ վիզաները չեղարկելու հարցի շուրջ նոր-նոր բանակցում են, տարիներ են պետք թեկուզ կես քայլ անելու համար։ Իսկ ի՞նչ է պահանջվում հայ հանրությունից. ուղղակի ապրել իր «երջանիկ» կյանքով, զվարճանալ, լավ սնվել, բոլոր մեղքերի մեջ մեղադրել ուրիշներին՝ ում կհրամայեն, իսկ սեփական իշխանությանն աջակցել ընտրություններին։ Կենտրոնամետ պոպուլիզմով տառապելն էլ խրախուսվում է, միայն թե հպարտությունն ազգային երանգներ չունենա։ Տիպիկ հոբբիթի կյանք։ Պարզապես այդ հոբբիթները ոչ ոքի պետք չեն, ով հասնի՝ կարող է խլել նրանց հողը, իրենց էլ վռնդել։ Ընդ որում, Գենդալֆն էլ չի օգնելու, նրան նախորդ սերիայում արդեն գլխավոր մեղավոր են հռչակել։
