Հնագետները Երուսաղեմում հայտնաբերել են «մոնումենտալ» կառույց, որը հիշատակվում է աստվածաշնչյան երկու գրքերում, գրում է timesofisrael.com-ը։

Նրանք հայտնաբերել են հնագույն խրամատի ավերակներ. խրամատը, ըստ մասնագետների, կառուցվել է հազարամյակներ առաջ և նպատակ ուներ Դավթի քաղաքը ( Երուսաղեմի հնագույն բնակեցված շրջանը-Խմբ.) երկու մասի բաժանել:

150 տարի շարունակ հետազոտողներն աշխատել են ապացուցելու համար, որ քաղաքը երկու մասի է բաժանված եղել, ինչպես նկարագրված է սուրբ գրություններում: Այժմ նրանք հայտնաբերել են խրամատը, որը հարավային բնակելի շրջանը բաժանել է հյուսիսում գտնվող վերին քաղաքից:

Խրամատի խորությունը մոտ 9 մետր էր, լայնությունը՝ 30 մետր:

Ըստ մասնագետների թիմԻ՝ խրամատը ստեղծվել էր ավելի քան 3,000 տարի առաջ. նույն ժամանակահատվածում են գրվել Թագավորաց գիրքը (Հին Կտակարանի կանոնի պատմական գրքերից է-Խմբ.) և Սամուել մարգարեի գիրքը, որոնցում նկարագրված է, որ Դավթի քաղաքը բաժանվել է երկու մասի՝  Օֆել և Միլո: Օֆելը և Միլոն տերմիններ են, որոնք օգտագործվում են սուրբ գրություններում՝ նկարագրելու Դավթի քաղաքի տարբեր մասերը:The City of David, once called Bethlehem, is considered one of the oldest cities in history and is said to be the birthplace of JesusThe moat measured about 30 feet deep and nearly 100 feet wide with perpendicular cliffs on each side, making it impassableThe structure was first discovered in the 1960s by British archaeologist Kathleen Kenyon who noticed the moat was slightly east of today’s Givati Parking Lot. Kenyon thought the formation was just a natural valley, however, her discovery turned out to be a continuation of the moat as it curved to the westThe IAA confirmed that construction plans like this one typically date back to the Middle Bronze Age - about 3,800 years agoThe city was built on top of a narrow, steep ridge overlooking hills and valleys that divided the land and made it difficult to move from one area to another
