Չինաստանի Գանսու նահանգում բարձրացրել են երկու աշտարակներ՝ յուրաքանչյուրը 200 մետր բարձրությամբ։ Նրանք շրջապատված են 30000 հայելիներից բաղկացած դաշտերով: Երկու աշտարակները, որոնց բարձրությունը 200 մետր է, բարձրացրել են Չինաստանի Գանսու նահանգում: Նրանք շրջապատված են համակենտրոն շրջանակներով դասավորված 30000 հայելիների դաշտերով։

Ակնկալվում է, որ նոր էներգետիկ կայանը տարեկան կարտադրի ավելի քան 1,8 միլիարդ ԿՎտ/ժամ էլեկտրաէներգիա:

Համակենտրոնացված արևային էներգիայի տեխնոլոգիան, որն օգտագործում է հայելիները՝ կենտրոնացնելու և արևի լույսը արտացոլելու համար, որպեսզի գոլորշու տուրբիններն էներգիա արտադրեն, ամբողջ աշխարհում եղել է տասնամյակներ շարունակ: Սակայն Չինաստանում առաջին անգամ էլեկտրակայան կառուցվեց երկու աշտարակով, այլ ոչ թե մեկով, ինչպես միշտ։

Ենթադրվում է, որ հայելիների դասավորությունը և երկու աշտարակների առկայությունը հնարավորություն կտան առավելագույն ազդեցությամբ արտացոլել արևի լույսը աշտարակներից յուրաքանչյուրի վրա և բարձրացնել էլեկտրակայանի արդյունավետությունը մինչև 24 %:

Նոր արևային էլեկտրակայանը պետք է շահագործման հանձնվի 2024 թվականի վերջին։

Հայաստանն արևային վահանակներ արտադրող մեկ ընկերություն ունի՝ «Սոլարոնը»։
