Ես գոհ եմ իմ կայացրած որոշումներից ու անցած ճանապարհից, այն ինչ ունի սկիզբ, ունի նաև ավարտ։ Այս մասին Newmag / summerfest-2024-ի շրջանակում պատասխանելով Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքական վերադառնալու հավանականության մասին հարցին ասել է ազգային թիմի նախկին ավագ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը:

«Ավելի լավ է ավարտել մեկ քայլ շուտ, քան՝ երկու քայլ ուշ: Ավելի լավ է՝ այդ որոշումը կայացնես դու, քան՝ ուրիշները», - նշել է ֆուտբոլիստը:

Մխիթարյանի խոսքով՝ թե՛ ֆուտբոլային կարիերայի ընթացքում, թե՛ դրանից դուրս կայացրած որևէ որոշման համար չի զղջում:

«Գոհ եմ իմ կայացրած որոշումներից, գոհ եմ իմ անցած ճանապարհից: Որոշ մարդիկ կարող են ասել, թե կարող էի ավելի լավ կամ ավելի վատ կարիերա ունենալ, բայց կարծում եմ՝ ոչ մեկս մեր ճակատագրից չենք կարող փախչել: Պետք է համակերպվենք նրա հետ, ինչ ունենք, և շնորհակալ լինենք Աստծուն այն ամենի համար, ինչ նա մեզ տվել է: Կարող եմ ասել, որ ինձ համար, ցավոք սրտի, հավաքականի դուռը փակ է»,- ասել է Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը:

Հարցազրույցից հետո Մխիթարյանն ինքնագրեր է բաժանել երկրպագուներին և լուսանկարվել նրանց հետ:
