Հիմալայան շրջանում սողանքների հետևանքով 10 մարդ Է զոհվել, 2400 զբոսաշրջիկ Հնդկաստանի հյուսիս-արևելքում հայտնվել է անախորժության մեջ.

Տեղական իշխանությունների տվյալներով՝ առնվազն 10 մարդ Է զոհվել Հնդկաստանի և Նեպալի Հիմալայան շրջաններում ջրհեղեղների և սողանքների հետևանքով, որոնք առաջացել են հինգշաբթի տեղատարափ անձրևների հետևանքով: Հորդառատ անձրևների պատճառով 2400 զբոսաշրջիկ է հայտնվել նաև Հնդկաստանի հյուսիս-արևելյան Սիկկիմ նահանգում:

Պաշտոնական անձանց տվյալներով՝ վեց մարդ Է զոհվել Հնդկաստանի Սիկկիմ նահանգում, եւս չորսը զոհվել են հարեւան Նեպալի Կոշի նահանգում տեղի ունեցած սողանքի հետեւանքով:

«Անձրևը չի դադարում արդեն 36 ժամ անընդմեջ մենք գտել ենք զոհվածների մարմինները և դրանք փոխանցել ընտանիքներին», - CNN-ին հայտնել է Սիկկիմից շրջանային դատավոր Համ Կումար Չեթրին: Նրա խոսքով՝ առնվազն 45 տուն, ճանապարհներ, կամուրջներ եւ ենթակառուցվածքային օբյեկտներ «լրջորեն վնասվել են» տեղատարափ անձրեւներից:

Հյուսիսարևելյան Սիկկիմ նահանգը, որը գտնվում է Բութանի և Նեպալի սահմանին, հայտնի է իր գեղատեսիլ Հիմալայան լանդշաֆտներով, 28 լեռնագագաթներով, 21 սառցադաշտերով և ավելի քան 200 լճերով: Բայց ինչպես ցանկացած լեռնային շրջան, այն ենթակա է մահացու, հանկարծակի ջրհեղեղների և սողանքների:

Անցյալ տարի տասնյակ մարդիկ մահացան այն բանից հետո, երբ նահանգում սառցադաշտային լիճը ճեղքվեց հորդառատ անձրևների պատճառով, և գիտնականները նախազգուշացրեցին, որ ծայրահեղ եղանակային իրադարձությունները կդառնան ավելի հաճախակի և ինտենսիվ, քանի որ աճում է մարդածին կլիմայական ճգնաժամը:

Չեթրին ասել է, որ մոտ 2400 զբոսաշրջիկներ մնացել են նահանգի տարբեր զբոսաշրջային վայրերում Այն բանից հետո, երբ սողանքները աղբով ծածկել են ճանապարհները, իսկ հորդառատ անձրևները վնասել են որոշ կամուրջներ:

Մինչ հյուսիսը պայքարում է հորդառատ անձրևների դեմ, Հնդկաստանը ռեկորդային երկար ամառ է ապրել. անցյալ ամիս մայրաքաղաք Դելիի մի հատվածում գրանցվել է երկրի պատմության մեջ ամենաբարձր ջերմաստիճանը՝ 49,9 աստիճան Ցելսիուս (121,8 աստիճան Ֆարենհայտ):

Երկրում ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացումը կարող է նաև ժխտել առաջընթացը աղքատության, առողջապահության և տնտեսական աճի դեմ պայքարում:
