Իսրայելն արձագանքել է Արդարադատության միջազգային դատարանի որոշմանը, որի համաձայն՝ Թել Ավիվը պարտավոր է դադարեցնել Ռաֆահում հարձակումները և ցանկացած այլ գործողություն, որը կարող են բացասաբար անդրադառնալ քաղաքի բնակչության վրա:

Դատարանը նաև պարտավորեցրել է Իսրայելին՝ բաց պահել Ռաֆահի անցակետը և ապահովել փաստահավաք առաքելությունների անարգել մուտքը Գազայի հատված:

Իսրայելի Ազգային անվտանգության խորհուրդը և արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հանդես են եկել համատեղ հայտարարությամբ, պնդել՝ ցեղասպանության համար Թել Ավիվին ներկայացվող մեղադրանքները կեղծ են և նողկալի:

Ըստ հրապարակման՝ իսրայելական ուժերը պաշտպանական պատերազմ են վարում՝ վերացնելու ՀԱՄԱՍ-ը և վերադարձնելու Գազայի հատվածում պահվող գերիներին:

«Իսրայելը գործում է միջազգային իրավունքին համապատասխան»,- ասված է հայտարարության մեջ:

Կառույցները վստահեցնում են, որ Ռաֆահի տարածքում այնպիսի գործողություններ չեն իրականացնում, որոնք կարող են հանգեցնել Գազայի հատվածի բնակչության ամբողջական կամ մասնակի ոչնչացման: Ըստ հայտարարության՝ իսրայելական կողմը բաց է պահում Ռաֆահի անցակետը մարդասիրական մատակարարումների համար և թույլ չի տա ահաբեկչական խմբերին վերահսկել այն:
