«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Մոտ մեկ ամիս առաջ հայտնի դարձավ, որ Երևանի նախկին քաղաքապետ Հայկ Մարությանը «Նոր ուժ» անունով կուսակցություն է հիմնում: Եվ ահա, ինչպես նախատեսված էր, երեկ կայացել է այդ կուսակցության հիմնադիր համագումարը, որը գրեթե միաձայն կուսակցության նախագահ ընտրեց Հայկ Մարությանին: Վերջինս նշել է, թե իրենք չեն կարող ոչ մի բան չանել, ուղղակի նստել ու նայել, թե ինչպես է քանդվում մեր պետությունը: «Սա վերջը չէ: Մենք արթնացնելու ենք մեր ժողովրդին թմբիրից և առաջնորդելու ենք մեր ժողովրդին: Մենք բեկում ենք մտցնելու այս ամեն ինչի մեջ»,-ասաց Երևանի նախկին քաղաքապետը:

Ի դեպ, «Նոր ուժը» ևս գտնում է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանությունն այլևս անելիք չունի, պետք է հեռանան: Հայկ Մարությանն ասում է, թե այն իշխանությունը, որը խոսք է տվել Արցախի անկախության երաշխավորում ու խոստացել է՝ նշաձողի իջեցման պարագայում ապահովել արցախցիների անվտանգությունը, հետո հրաժարվել է անգամ Արցախ բառից, այդ իշխանությունն այլևս կորցրել է Հայաստանի ճակատագրին վերաբերող հարցերով զբաղվելու լեգիտիմությունը. «Այս իշխանությունները որևէ վստահություն չեն ներշնչում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու նրա թիմը այլևս անելիք չունեն»։

Ինչ վերաբերում է Տավուշում ծավալվող իրադարձություններին, ապա համագումարից հետո լրագրողների հետ կայացած հանդիպմանը Մարությանն ասաց. «Սա Տավուշով չի վերջանալու, Ադրբեջանը նոր պահանջներ է դնելու, այս իշխանությունն այլևս այդ լեգիտիմությունը չունի, որ զբաղվի Հայաստանի համար կարևոր հարցերով։ Մեր անելիքն այսօր այստեղ է, մեր Տավուշն այստեղ է՝ այս դահլիճում է, մենք այս դահլիճում դնում ենք Տավուշի և ամբողջ սահմանամերձ գյուղերի խնդրի լուծման սկիզբը»:

Ի դեպ, հավելենք, որ «Նոր ուժ» կուսակցությունը սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական ուղղվածություն ունի: «Մենք համագործակցելու ենք բոլոր այն ուժերի հետ, որոնք այս ուղղվածությունն ունեն, բացի դրանից, մենք սահմաններ չենք դնելու համագործակցելու բոլոր այն ուժերի հետ, որոնք ազնվորեն միտված են երկրի զարգացմանը եւ չեն փորձում ուղղակի իրենց քաղաքական, կուսակցական շահերի համար երկրի ապագան խեղաթյուրել։ Ես եւ մեր թիմը աշխատել ենք երեք տարի, ապացուցել ենք դա, ցույց ենք տվել, որ հնարավոր է աշխատել մաքուր, ազնիվ, հնարավոր է արդյունք ունենալ։ Մեր ուժը ուզում է այդ արդյունքները ցույց տալ ամբողջ պետությունով»,ասաց Հայկ Մարությանը:
