«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Օրվա իշխանությունները անընդհատ «կատարելագործում» են ընդդիմադիրների ու ընդդիմախոսների նկատմամբ ճնշումների գործիքակազմը՝ իրենց իսկ ռեկորդները պարբերաբար թարմացնելով: Իսկ այն, ինչ կատարվեց Սամվել Վարդանյանի հետ, որը մի քպականի հետ տրանսպորտում ընդհարվել էր, աննախադեպ է նույնիսկ փաշինյանական իշխանության համար: Փաստացի, եթե մինչ այս քաղաքական նկատառումներով կիրառվում էին իրավապահ «գործիքները», հիմա արդեն իրավապահ համակարգը օգտագործվում է ուղիղ հանցագործության նպատակով:

Ըստ իրավաբանների, այն, որ այս ամենը կազմակերպված է իշխանությունների կողմից, վկայում է ոչ միայն այն հանգամանքը, որ Սամվել Վարդանյանի դեմ իրականացված խոշտանգումներին հետևել էին հրապարակումներ իշխանական տեղեկատվական հարթակներում, որտեղ բռնության ուղիղ կոչեր էին հնչում, այլև այն, որ թեպետ խոշտանգման փաստն ակներև է, ՁՊՎ-ում արձանագրվել են վնասվածքները, քննչական մարմինները երկու օր շարունակ քրեական վարույթ չէին նախաձեռնում՝ ըստ էության նպատակ ունենալով կոծկել գործը:

Ավելին, մինչ այժմ թաքցվում են ուղեկցող ոստիկանների անունները, և չի բացառվում, որ նրանց հետ համապատասխան «աշխատանքներ» են տարվում՝ ամեն ինչ հերքելու համար: Ինչի՞ մասին է խոսում այս ամենը: Սա ցույց է տալիս, որ իշխանությունները պարզապես ահաբեկված են հանրության սուր ընդվզումից իրենց դեմ, ուստի անցել են բացահայտ բռնությունների՝ նպատակ ունենալով նաև այլոց «աչքը վախեցնել»: Ինչ վերաբերում է գրավի համար անհրաժեշտ 7 մլն դրամին, որը հավաքվեց ընդամենը մի քանի ժամում, դա ևս բավական լուրջ ցուցիչ է հանրային տրամադրությունների առումով: Բանն այն է, որ, բացի մի քանի խոշոր հանգանակողներից, անհրաժեշտ գումարի հավաքման գործին, մեր տեղեկություններով, միացել է մոտ հարյուր մարդ:

Ավելին, մեր սոցցանցային ուսումնասիրությունները ցույց են տալիս, որ գրավի հանգանակման գործին միանալու ցանկություն ունեին հազարավոր մարդիկ, սակայն նախաձեռնության ներկայացուցիչներն ընդամենը մի քանի ժամ անց հայտարարեցին, որ գումարն ամբողջովին հավաքվել է: Հավելենք, որ, մեր տեղեկություններով, ընդդիմադիր դաշտում նոր գործողություններ են նախատեսվում, որպեսզի իշխանությունը չկարողանա «ծածկադմփոց» անել այս գործի հետ կապված, և բոլոր մեղավորները ստանան իրենց պատիժը:
