17-րդ դարի կտավը, որն ի սկզբանե գնահատվել էր 16,000 դոլարից էլ պակաս, Sotheby's-ի աճուրդում վաճառվել է մոտ 14 միլիոն դոլարով  այն բանից հետո, երբ մասնագետները բացահայտել են դրա գաղտնիքը, գրում է Daily Mail-ը:

2021 թվականին Christie's աճուրդի տունը «Թագավորների երկրպագությունը» կոչվող յուղաներկ կտավը վերագրել էր Ռեմբրանդտի շրջապատից մեկին և աշխատանքը գնահատել 10,600-ից 15,900 դոլար:

Սակայն Sotheby's-ը, ի վերջո, պարզել է, որ աշխատանքը իրականում Ռեմբրանդտի վրձնին է պատկանում. արդյունքում կտավի վերջին վաճառքից երկու տարի անց դրա գինը բարձրացել է մինչև 13,8 միլիոն դոլար:
