Չինական ավանդական տոներն ունեն բազմադարյան պատմություն և հարուստ մշակութային բովանդակություն։ Նրանցից շատերը իրենց արմատներով հասնում են հին չինական առասպելաբանության խորքերը, մյուսներն ունեն լիովին իրապաշտական ակունքներ, նախ և առաջ՝ առնչվելով չին ժողովրդի գյուղատնտեսական գործունեությանը։ Գործնականում նրանք բոլորը, որոշ բացառություններով, կապված են չինական օրացույցի որևէ ամսաթվի։

Գարնան փառատոնը Չինաստանի օրացույցում ամենա կարևոր տոներից է: Այն համարվում է ընտանեկան տոն: Այդ օրը ընտանիքը միավորվում է և միասին դիմավորում նոր տարին: Գարնան տոներին Չինաստանում ընդունված է հարազատներին և հատկապես երեխաներին նվիրել «կարմիր ծրարներ», որոնք խորհրդանշում են առողջություն, երջանկություն և բարգավաճում։

Չինական ավանդական տոների մեծ մասի նախատիպերը ծագել են Ցին գահատոհմի դարաշրջանում (մ.թ.ա. 221-206 թթ.). Ժամանակի ընթացքում որոշ հին ծեսեր վերածվել են գունագեղ զանգվածային տոնակատարությունների, իսկ մյուսներն էլ դուրս մղվել ժողովրդի առօրյա կյանքից։104 թվականին մ.թ.ա. Հան դինաստիայի կայսր Ու-դի-ն պաշտոնապես հաստատեց Գարնան տոնի կարգավիճակը: Այդ ժամանակվանից այն օգտագործվել է սերունդների ընթացքում և աստիճանաբար դարձավ չինացիների կողմից նշվող ամենակարևոր տոնը:

Չինական օրացույցի առաջին օրը («Գարնան տոն») սկսվում է ամանորը. այն համարվում է նոր տարվա սկիզբը։ Չինացիների կարծիքով, այդ օրը սկսվում է գարունը, տեղի է ունենում բնության զարթոնքը, կենդանանում են հողը և նրա պահպանած կյանքի ծիլերը։ Գարնանային փառատոնի նախօրեին ամբողջ ընտանիքը հավաքվում է միասին վայելելու ճոխ ընթրիք և հեռուստացույցով դիտելու Գարնանային փառատոնի գալա-համերգը մինչև ժամացույցի սլաքները ցույց կտան կեսգիշերը՝ դիմավորելու Նոր տարին: Այս հնագույն տոնը նշվում է հրավառությամբ՝ չար ոգիներին վախեցնելու համար:

Լապտերների տոնը համարվում է «Գարնան տոնի» (չինական ամանորի) ավարտը և նշվում է Լուսնային օրացույցի 1-ին ամսվա 15-րդ օրը։ Ավանդույթի համաձայն՝ մարդիկ փողոցներում և զբոսայգիներում կախում են զանազան չափերի բազմերանգ լապտերներ և ուտում յուանսիաո, այլ կերպ ասած՝ գնդիկներ՝ պատրաստված կպչուն բրնձի ալյուրից և սև քունջութի միջուկից։
 
2024 թվականը, ըստ չինական հորոսկոպի, կանաչ փայտե վիշապի տարի է։

Ըստ Գրիգորյան օրացույցի՝ Վիշապի տարին կսկսվի 2024 թվականի փետրվարի 10-ին (չինական Նոր տարի) և կավարտվի 2025 թվականի հունվարի 28-ին։

Եվ այսպես, խորհրդանիշն ունի մի շարք բնութագրեր.

  • Չնայած իր հզորությանն ու ուժին՝ այս կենդանիները արևելյան դիցաբանության մեջ համարվում են խաղաղասեր: Նման հովանավորին անհամբեր են սպասում։ Ի վերջո, այն իր պոչով «բերում» է հետաքրքիր իրադարձություններ, փոփոխություններ և էներգիա է տալիս մարդկանց, որն էլ օգնում է նրանց հաղթահարել դժվարությունները:
  • Վիշապը խորհրդանշում է բարգավաճում և հաջողություն։ Իսկ կանաչ գույնը Տարվա տիրոջը տալիս է ճկունություն, հանգստություն, նոր միջավայրին հարմարվելու կարողություն։
