«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այն, որ Արմեն Աշոտյանը քաղբանտարկյալ է, և նրա նկատմամբ քաղաքական հետապնդում է իրականացվում, կարծում ենք, ակնհայտ է բոլոր ողջամիտ, դատողունակ անձանց, նույնիսկ այն հայրենակիցներին, որոնք ՀՀԿ կալանավորված փոխնախագահի գործունեության, մեղմ ասած, «երկրպագուների» շարքերում չեն: Բայց հետաքրքիր է, թե լիովին փաշինյանական իշխանության քմահաճույքներով առաջնորդվող ԲԴԽ-ն ինչո՞ւ է ցանկացել ևս մեկ անգամ ապացուցել, որ, այո՛, Արմեն Աշոտյանը քաղաքական բանտարկյալ է:

Բանն այն է, որ ԲԴԽ-ն պաշտոնապես պարզաբանում է տարածել, որով հանրությանը բացատրում է, թե... ինչու է դատարանը որոշել կալանքի տակ պահել Արմեն Աշոտյանին: Սա տարօրինակ է այնքանով, որ նույն ԲԴԽ-ն, օրինակ՝ հանրային հնչեղություն ստացած բազմաթիվ այլ գործերով նման մեկնաբանություններ, պարզաբանումներ, բացատրություններ, որքան հիշում ենք, չի ներկայացրել: Բայց Արմեն Աշոտյանի «գործի» վերաբերյալ Կարեն Անդրեասյանի գլխավորած կառույցն իր պարտքն է համարել հանդես գալ որպես կալանքի որոշում կայացրած դատավորի... պաշտպան: Մի խոսքով, ԲԴԽ պարզաբանումը միանգամայն «նոր խոսք» է Հայաստանում արդարադատություն ասվածի ոչնչացման գործում:

Մյուս հետաքրքիր հանգամանքն այն է, որ ԲԴԽ պարզաբանման մեջ նշված է, թե՝ «...գործում առկա փաստական տվյալները բավարար են եղել հանգելու հետևության, որ քանի դեռ որևէ ապացույց չի հետազոտվել, պարոն Աշոտյանն ազատության մեջ հայտնվելու դեպքում կարող է խոչընդոտել քրեական վարույթին, այդ թվում՝ ապօրինի միջամտել ապացուցման գործընթացին»: Նույն հաջողությամբ ԲԴԽ-ն ու կալանք դակող դատավորները առաջիկայում կարող են նման որոշումները հիմնավորել, օրինակ՝ աստղերի դասավորությամբ, սուրճի գավաթով, վերջապես՝ եղունգ նայելով: Չէ, լո՛ւրջ: Այսպես որ գնաց, Կարեն Անդրեասյանը վաղը, մյուս օրը կարող է «ապացուցման գործընթացին ապօրինի միջամտելու» փորձ գնահատել նաև... դատին ամբաստանյալի մասնակցությունը կամ փաստաբան ունենալը:

Մյուս կողմից՝ սա ևս մեկ անգամ ապացուցում է այս իշխանության օրոք «արդարադատության» բազմակի ստանդարտները: Այսինքն, քպականները կամ իշխող ռեժիմին ծառայություն մատուցածներն ու մատուցողները կարող են հանցանք գործել, ասենք՝ վրաերթի միջոցով մարդ սպանել ու ազատ շրջել, նրանք, դե, չեն ազդի «ապացույցների հետազոտման վրա», թեկուզ լինեն հենց իրավապահ համակարգի ներկա կամ մի քիչ նախկին աշխատակից, իսկ, այ, ռեժիմի քաղաքական հակառակորդները պետք է կալանավորվեն: Նույնիսկ ՖԲ-ում Փաշինյանի մասին «փիս-փիս» բաներ գրողները:

Ինչևէ, ամեն դեպքում ԲԴԽ-ն իր տարածած պարզաբանմամբ հրաշալի կերպով ապացուցեց, որ Արմեն Աշոտյանը հենց քաղաքական բանտարկյալ է: Կարելի է սպասել ԲԴԽ նոր հայտարարություններին. չէ՞ որ քաղբանտարկյալների պակաս Հայաստանը չունի...
