UNICEF-ի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի հաղորդմամբ՝ երեխաներն ամենաշատն են տուժում հումանիտար ճգնաժամերից: «Համապատասխան ծառայություների հասանելիությունը, այդ թվում՝ սոցիալ- հոգեբանական աջակցությունը, կրթությունը, սնուցումը, ջրի և սանիտարահիգիենիկ պայմանների հասանելիությունը, ինչպես նաև երեխաների պաշտպանությունը խիստ կարևոր են, որ նրանք կարողանան ստանալ անհրաժեշտ աջակցություն և հաղթահարեն տեղահանման հետևանքով առաջացած սթրեսը:»

UNICEF-ի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի օրերս հրապարակած զեկույցի համաձայն, նոյեմբերի կեսերի դրությամբ Հայաստան են ժամանել 101848 փախստականներ, որոնց թվում են 30000 երեխաներ։ Դպրոցական տարիքի երեխաների թիվը ազմում է ավելի քան 80 տոկոս, ովքեր հաշվառված են դպրոցներում։ Զեկույցի պնդմամբ՝ UNICEF-ը երկրում տեղակայել է 20 շարժական մանկաբուժական կենտրոններ, որոնց շնորհիվ շուրջ 4602 երեխաներ ստացել են բուժօգնություն:

Ավելի քան 500 հիվանդ երեխաներին տրամադրվել է երկրորդական կամ երրորդական առողջապահական ծառայություն՝ ըստ կարիքների, ներառյալ հոգեկան առողջությունը և հոգեսոցիալական աջակցությունը, նշված է Հայաստանում մարդասիրական իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ զեկույցում: UNICEF-ի և գործընկերների աջակցությամբ 4128 երեխա և խնամակալ մուտք է գործել ապահով տարածքներ: Բացի այդ, 7025 երեխաներ, դեռահասներ և խնամողներ ստացել են հոգեբանական և հոգեսոցիալական աջակցություն:

Այս պահին մոտավորապես 4,6 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլար շարունաում է հասանելի մնալ կառույցին: Այդ ֆինանսավորման մեծ մասը գալիս է UNICEF-ի մարդասիրական արձագանքման համաշխարհային հիմնադրամներից:
