«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Այն, որ Արման Թաթոյանից հետո Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը չի կարողանալու, ներողություն՝ չի ցանկանալու պետական համակարգում կարևոր դերակատարում ունեցող Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի պաշտոնի՝ գոնե համարժեքությանը մոտ թեկնածու գտնել, ակնհայտ էր դեռ այն ժամանակ, երբ քպականները նախկին ՄԻՊ-ի «քարկոծմանն» էին լծված: Հասկանալի էր, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը բացարձակապես ոչ մի ցանկություն չուներ ՄԻ պաշտպանի պաշտոնում տեսնել քիչ թե շատ ինքնուրույն որևէ գործչի: Նրան այդ պաշտոնում հլու-հնազանդ հպատա՛կ էր պետք, պետք էր ու պետք է ոչ թե ՄԻ պաշտպան, այլ, ինչպես ժամանակին առիթ ունեցել ենք նշելու, ՔՊԻ պաշտպան, մեկը, որ կհամաձայնի դառնալ իշխանության բոլոր այլանդակությունները արդարացնող քպական հավել յալ ֆունկցիոներ: Այդպես էլ եղավ:

Հետո Փաշինյանը որոշեց, որ այդ նշանակված կադրն ավելի լավ հետախույզ կլինի, այն էլ՝ արտաքին հետախուզության գծով, ու մի նոր միպացու գտան յուրայինների շարքերից: Վերցրեցին ու յուրային գլխավոր դատախազի տեղակալ Անահիտ Մանասյանին կարգեցին ՄԻ պաշտպանի պաշտոնում: Ոչ մի ուշադրություն չդարձրեցին այն իրողությանը, որ տվյալ անձնավորությունը, այսպես ասենք, գլխավոր դատախազի հետ ընկերուհիական հարաբերություններ ունի, նրա անմիջական ենթական է ու այդ պաշտոնից է «գնում» ՄԻ պաշտպան: Որքան յուրային, այնքան՝ լավ: Սա է փաշինյանական նշանակումների միակ «տրամաբանությունը», որը բռնատիրական ռեժիմներին բնորոշ հատկանիշ է: Անահիտ Մանասյանը, կարելի է ասել, միանգամայն արդարացնում է...

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և ՔՊ-ի բոլոր ակնկալիքները: Այն է՝ սուսուփուս «զբաղվել» այն «գործով», ինչի համար ընտրվել-նշանակվել է, ձայն չհանել, իսկ արդյունքում՝ դիմազրկել ու հեղինակազրկել ՄԻ պաշտպանի ինստիտուտը: Այդ բոլոր ուղղություններով փաշինյանական ՄԻ պաշտպան Անահիտ Մանասյանը գործնականում «հաջողություններ» գրանցում է, ձգտում է առանձնապես «չերևալ»: Ավելին, քպականներն իրենք տարրական հարգանք չեն ցուցաբերում ՄԻ պաշտպանի ինստիտուտի հանդեպ: Ամենից ցայտունն այն դեպքն էր, երբ բյուջեի նախագծի քննարկման ժամանակ քպական Պապոյանը կատաղի հռետորաբանությամբ ու տոնայնությամբ, ՄԻ պաշտպանի անմիջական ներկայությամբ վերբալ հարձակման դիմեց ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորուհու դեմ, որի հարցն, ի դեպ, Պապոյանին ընդհանրապես ուղղված չէր: Ու ՄԻՊ-ը չսաստեց յուրային քպական պատգամավորին՝ հավել յալ ապացուցելով վերը նշվածը:

Այդքանից հետո թեպետ ամենևին զարմանալի չէ, բայց արժե արձանագրել, որ ՄԻՊ-ի ձայնը «նոր տարվա լիմոնադի» կարգավիճակում է, տվյալ դեպքում՝ չի լսվում: Եվ չի լսվում մի իրավիճակում, երբ ֆեյսբուքյան գրառումների, արտահայտությունների հիման վրա Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, նրա գլխավոր դատախազը գործակարության «արտել» են բացել ու «կարել» է, որ «կարում» են, հասկանալի է՝ միմիայն ընդդիմադիր հայացքներ ունեցող անձանց և գործիչների դեմ: Բանտերը լցված են քաղաքական բանտարկյալներով, իսկ ՄԻՊ-ը այնպես է իրեն պահում, կարծես «Հանրայինի» եթերում է ապրում, այլ ոչ թե իրական Հայաստանում: Այսքանից հետո միգուցե կարելի էր հարց տալ. Հայաստանն, ի վերջո, ՄԻՊ ունի՞, թե՞ ոչ: Բայց, որքան էլ ցավալի է, այդ հարցն էլ է արդեն ավելորդ դառնում կամ առնվազն սոսկ հռետորական:
