Օլիմպիական խաղերի եռակի չեմպիոն, աշխարհի ու Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն Ալբերտ Ազարյանի հոգեհանգստի արարողությունը կկայանա Ալեքսանդր Սպենդիարյանի անվան օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնում սեպտեմբերի 8-ին՝ ժամը 17:00-ից:

Վերջին հրաժեշտը տեղի կունենա սեպտեմբերի 9-ին՝ ժամը 11:00-13:00-ը Կոնդի Սուրբ Հովհաննես Կարապետ եկեղեցում, ժամը 13:00-13:30-ը՝ Ալբերտ Ազարյանի անվան մանկապատանեկան մարզադպրոցում (հասցե՝ Մոսկովյան 3):

Ալբերտ Ազարյանի աճյունը կամփոփվի Կոմիտասի անվան պանթեոնում. հուղարկավորությունը՝ ժամը 14:00-ին:

Ալբերտ Ազարյանը ծնվել է 1929 թվականի փետրվարի 11-ին Գանձակում՝ արհեստավորի ընտանիքում։ 1939 թվականին ընտանիքը տեղափոխվել է Վանաձոր, իսկ 1947 թվականին՝ Երևան։ Նա ԽՍՀՄ սպորտի վաստակավոր վարպետ է (1954), ՀԽՍՀ վաստակավոր մարզիչ, ՀԽՍՀ ֆիզկուլտուրայի և սպորտի վաստակավոր գործիչ (1967)։

Մասնակցել է մրցումների աշխարհի 49 երկրում, նվաճել է 45 ոսկյա, 42 արծաթյա և 10 բրոնզե մեդալներ։ Օլիմպիական խաղերի եռակի, աշխարհի քառակի և Եվրոպայի կրկնակի չեմպիոն է: ԽԱՀՄ առաջնություններում 11 անգամ արժանացել է չեմպիոնի կոչման։

Մարմնամարզության միջազգային ֆեդերացիայի հավաստագրման համաձայն՝ օղակների վրա նրա կատարած վարժությունների համալիրը պաշտոնապես անվանակոչվել է «Ազարյանական խաչ»։

Ալբերտ Ազարյանը Հայաստանի մարմնամարզության ֆեդերացիայի պատվավոր նախագահն է: Վախճանվել է 2023 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 5-ին՝ 94 տարեկանում:

Նշենք, որ ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի որոշմամբ հայ մեծանուն մարմնամարզիկ, ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի և սպորտի վաստակավոր գործիչ, օլիմպիական խաղերի եռակի չեմպիոն, աշխարհի ու Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն, «Oղակների արքա» Ալբերտ Ազարյանի մահվան կապակցությամբ ստեղծվել է թաղման կառավարական հանձնաժողով՝ ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍ նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանի նախագահությամբ:

Հանձնաժողովի կազմում ընդգրկված է նաև նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Գիլոյանը:
