Մինչև 2030 թվականը նախատեսվում է վերականգնվող էներգիայի ոլորտի ընդհանուր համաշխարհային շրջանառությունը հասցնել 650 միլիարդ դոլարի։ Միջազգային էներգետիկ գործակալության գնահատականներով այս ցուցանիշը գրեթե 3 անգամ գերազանցում է առկա մակարդակը։

Ըստ վերլուծաբանների՝ աշխարհը կանգնած է նոր ինդուստրյալ դարաշրջանի առջև, որն արտացոլվել է էկոլոգիապես մաքուր տեխնոլոգիաների, էներգետիկայի ժողովրդականացման և զանգվածային զարգացման դրսևորումներով։ Այսպիսի մակարդակի հասնելու նպատակով վերականգնվող էներգիայի աղբյուրների շուկայի զարգացման և բնապահպանական գեներացիայի համար հարկավոր են նոր սարքավորումների արտադրության ավելացում։ «Բոլոր երկրները պետք է իրականացնեն իրենց ստանձնած պարտավորությունները, այդ թվում ոչ միայն էներգետիկ նոր կայանների շինարարություն, այնպես էլ շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանում»,— փաստում են միջազգային էներգետիկ գործակալության մասնագետները։ Դրա համար առաջին և կարևորագույն պայմանը քաղաքական կամքն է՝ խոշոր ֆինանսական ներդրումները։

Փորձագետների կանխատեսմամբ՝ այսպիսի ջանքերի շնորհիվ էներգիայի արտադրության հետ կապված աշխատատեղերի թիվը կտրուկ կավելանա, այժմյան 6 միլիոնից հասնելով մինչև 14 միլիոնի ողջ աշխարհում, իսկ 2030 թվականից հետո ակնկալվում է արդյունաբերական հզորությունների և զբաղվածության մակարդակի շեշտակի աճ։

Փորձագետները նաև որպես պոտենցիալ խոչընդոտներ մատնանշում են էներգոանցման իրականացման ճանապարհին առաքումների շղթայում որոշ երկրների և տարածաշրջանների գերիշխանությունը։ Մարտկոցների, արևային վահանկների, քամու գեներատորների և այլ էկոտեխնոլոգիաների արտադրության 70 %-ը բաժին է հասնում Չինաստանին, վերջինս՝ գիտակցելով իր գերիշխանությունը այդ տեխնոլոգիաներն օգտագործում է ոչ միայն տնտեսական, այլև քաղաքական նպատակներով, ուստի և Եվրամիության և Հարավային Ամերիկայի մեծ երկրները մտադիր են սեփական տնտեսական հզորություններ ստեղծել, արտադրել անհրաժեշտ սարքավորումները, այս կերպ առաջին հերթին իրենց էներգետիկ անկախությունը ապահովելու համար։
