Վրաստանի վարչապետի խորհրդական Իրակլի Չիկովանին հայտարարել է, որ երկրի նախկին նախագահ Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլին անցյալի քաղաքական գործիչ է, որը չի կարող օգուտ տալ ո՛չ Վրաստանին, ո՛չ Ուկրաինային: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է pia.ge կայքը:

«Հետևողականությունը, համակարգվածությունն ու արժեքների հիման վրա քաղաքականության կազմավորումը բնորոշ չեն Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլիին: Սաակաշվիլին անցյալի քաղաքական գործիչ է, իսկ անցյալի քաղաքական գործիչը չի կարող դրական արդյունք ստեղծել ոչ Վրաստանի, ոչ Ուկրաինայի համար: Ափսոսանք է առաջացնում այն փաստը, որ մեր երկրում ծանր հանցագործության համար մեղադրվող մարդը մեկ այլ պետության կառավարման համակարգում մասնակցություն ունենալու թեկնածու է: Մենք կսպասենք իրադարձությունների զարգացմանն ու ըստ դրա կտանք մեր պատասխանը»,-հայտարարել է Չիկովանին:

Ինչպես ավելի վաղ տեղեկացրել էր Tert.am-ը, Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին ուսումնասիրել և հավանության է արժանացրել կառավարությունում Վրաստանի երրորդ նախագահ Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլիին պաշտոնի նշանակելու առաջարկը, որը Գերագույն ռադայի կողմից հաստատում չի պահանջում: Ըստ աղբյուրների՝ Զելենսկին Սաակաշվիլիին պատրաստվում է նշանակել կառավարությունում նախագահի ներկայացուցչի պաշտոնում: Ուկրաինայի կառավարությունն ապրիլի 28-ին Գերագույն ռադայից հետ էր կանչել Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահ, Օդեսայի նախկին նահանգապետ Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլիին բարեփոխումների գծով փոխվարչապետ նշանակելու առաջարկը:
