«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «Ուրբաթ օրվանից, երբ ուժի մեջ կմտնի սահմանադրական փոփոխությունների նախագիծը, իշխանությունը կանցնի ՍԴ կազմը փոխելու գործուն քայլերին։ Իշխանական աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, ՍԴ նոր նախագահ է դիտարկվում ՍԴ գործող դատավոր Արման Դիլանյանը, որը դատավոր է ընտրվել հեղափոխությունից հետո։ Նրա թեկնածությունը ներկայացրել է Դատավորների ընդհանուր ժողովը։

Իսկ իշխանության երբեմնի սրտի դատավոր Վահե Գրիգորյանի թեման կարծես թե փակված է։ Իսկ ինչո՞ւ Դիլանյանը։ «Նախ, փորձ ունի՝ 96 թվականից աշխատում է ՍԴ-ում, և երկրորդ՝ որոշակի անաչառություն է դրսևորել, ու չեն ասի, թե յուրայիններին նախագահ դարձրին»։

Ի դեպ, երեկ ՍԴ դատավորների տարածած հայտարարությանը, որով իրենց «խիստ մտահոգություններն» էին հայտնում բարձր դատարանի շուրջ կատարվող իրադարձությունների առիթով, Դիլանյանը չէր միացել։ ՍԴ-ի մասին օրենքի համաձայն՝ ՍԴ դատավոր, ինչպես նաև նախագահ կարող է ընտրվել 40 տարին լրացած, միայն ՀՀ քաղաքացի հանդիսացող, «ընտրական իրավունք ունեցող, բարձր մասնագիտական և բարոյական որակներով ու մասնագիտական աշխատանքի առնվազն 15 տարվա փորձառությամբ, հայերենին տիրապետող, բարձրագույն կրթությամբ իրավաբանը»:

Ի դեպ, քննարկվել է նաև ԱԺ պետաիրավական հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Վարդանյանին ՍԴ գործուղելու տարբերակը, քանի որ երկար տարիներ աշխատել է ՍԴ-ում, եղել աշխատակազմի ղեկավար, բայց իշխող թիմում եզրակացրել են, որ Վարդանյանն իր տեղում «անփոխարինելի» է՝ ԱԺ-ում չունեն ուժեղ իրավաբան։

Իսկ նոր դատավորների փնտրտուքը շարունակվում է, առայժմ հնչում են նախկին ՄԻՊ Կարեն Անդրեասյանի, վճռաբեկի դատավոր, 62-ամյա Մամիկոն Դրմեյանի անունները»:
