-Տեր Նարեկ,մենք ուզում էին իմանալ Ձեր կարծիքը՝Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի նախաձեռնությամբ կառուցվելիք Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մոնումենտալ արձանի վերաբերյալ։
-Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը մեծ բարեգործ է և բազմիցս է դա ապացուցել գործով։Կարծում եմ,ցանկացած հայ մարդ,պետք է հպարտություն ապրի՝իր երկրի տարածքում,մեր տեր՝Հիսուս Քրիստոսի արձանի տեղադրման կապակցությամբ։Հետագայում,համոզված եմ,որ այստեղ ենթակառուցվածքներ են լինելու՝ռեստորաններ,սրճարաններ և այլն,մարդկանց հանգիստը արժանավայել կազմակերպելու համար։Մի խոսքով,սա հարրենիքը շենացնող կառույց է լինելու ու նաև արտասահմանցի զբոսաշրջիկների այցելության համար խթանիչ գործոն է հանդիսանալու։
-Իսկ առհասարակ,ո՞րն է այն կարևորությունը,խորհուրդը,որն ունի Հիսուս Քրիստոսի մոնումենտալ արձանի տեղադրումը մի երկրում,որտեղ քրիստոնեությունը,որպես կրոն առաջինն է ընդունվել պետական մակարդակով։
— Իհարկե,սա առանձնահատուկ կարևորություն ունի մեր երկրի,մեր ազգի համար։Այո,դուք ճիշտ նշեցիք,մենք որպես քրիստոնեությունը՝առաջինը ընդունած ազգ,պարտավոր ենք ունենալ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի արձանը։Ես հիշում եմ,երբ Հռոմի պապը ժամանեց Հայաստան,ասեց,որ իր համար առանձնակի մեծ կարևորություն ունի առաջին քրիստոնյա երկրի այցելությունը։Այնպես որ,Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի բարեգործական նախաձեռնության վերաբերյալ միայն դրական կարծիք ունեմ։Այլ կերպ լինել չի կարող։
-Տեր Նարեկ,և վերջում կուզենայիք, Ձեր օրհնությունը տալ պարոն Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի այս աննախադեպ ու չափազանց կարևոր բարեգործական նախաձեռնությանը
-Ես օրհնում և ողջունում եմ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի՝հայրենիքը շենացնող այս նախաձեռնությունը։Ի շնորհիվ նրա ջանքերի,մենք Քրիստոսին վիզուալ տեսնելու հնարավորություն ենք ստանալու։Նա գործի մարդ է՝ինչ ասում,անում է։Մենք տեսել ենք,թե ինչպես է պ-ն Ծառուկյանը բազմաթիվ եկեղեցիներ կառուցել։Մշտապես գտնվել է տեղում,ծանոթացել շինաշխատանքների ընթացքին,մշտապես ժպիտը դեմքին,միշտ ուրախ։Որովհետև բարի գործ է կատարում,որովհետև մեծ հայրենասեր է։Իսկ այն մարդիկ,ովքեր դեմ են Քրիստոսի մոնումենտալ արձանի տեղադրմանը,իրենք ուղղակի սխալ պատկերացում ունեն քրիստոնեական հավատքի մասին։Արձանը պաշտամունքի առարկա չի դառնալու,ինչպես իրենք են կարծում։Մենք մեր եկեղեցում ունենք սրբապատկերներ,բայց դրանց մեջ բոլորովին այլ իմաստ ենք տեսնում։Այնպես որ,անչափ շնորհակալ ենք պ-ն Ծառուկյանին։
