Ինչպե՞ս դիմակայել շոգին, ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունը մի քանի խորհուրդներ է հրապարակել։
 
Ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացման և ուլտրամանուշակագույն ճառագայթման բացասական ազդեցությունը, ինչպես նաև օրգանիզմի անցանկալի գերտաքացումը մեղմելու կամ կանխելու համար անհրաժեշտ է հետևել մի քանի պարզ կանոնի`
 
խուսափել արևի ուղիղ ճառագայթներից, հատկապես` ժամը 12:00-ից 17:00-ն, հնարավորության սահմաններում, դրսում չմնալ,  պաշտպանվել ուլտրամանուշակագույն ճառագայթումից` կրելով գլխարկ, արևային ակնոց, հովանոց, հագնել սպիտակ կամ բաց երանգների ազատ, օդաթափանց հագուստ, ցանկալի է բամբակյա կտորից, օգտագործել սովորականից շատ հեղուկներ, հատկապես ջուր, թան։ Ծարավը հագեցնելու ամենատարածված ու ամենամատչելի միջոցը ջուրն է: Թանը պարունակում է օրգանական թթուներ, սպիտակուցներ և աղեր, այն ծարավը հագեցնելու հրաշալի միջոց է։ Սրտանոթային կամ միզասեռական համակարգի հիվանդություններ ունեցող անձինք հեղուկներ պետք է ընդունեն իրենց բուժող բժշկի հետ խորհրդակցելուց հետո։
 
Օգտագործվող հեղուկները պետք է լինեն գոլ կամ հովացրած, այսպես դրանք ավելի լավ են հագեցնում ծարավը, չի կարելի հեղուկները շատ սառեցնել, ցանկալի է հրաժարվել կծու, յուղոտ կերակուրներից, նախընտրել ավելի թեթև, դյուրամարս սնունդ, օգտագործել շատ միրգ և հում բանջարեղեն, չչարաշահել կոֆեին և շաքար պարունակող ըմպելիքները` թե՛ տաք, թե՛ սառը վիճակում։
 
Չգտնվել չօդափոխվող կամ վատ օդափոխվող տարածքում, երկար ժամանակ չմնալ արևի տակ կայանված փոխադրամիջոցում, երեխաներին չթողնել փակ պատուհաններով ավտոմեքենայում, ցանկալի է, որպեսզի երեխաները, հղիները, ծերերը, քրոնիկ հիվանդություններ ունեցող անձինք ցերեկային ամենաշոգ ժամերին քնեն կամ պառկեն, քանի որ այդպես հեշտանում է ջերմատվությունը և արյան շրջանառությունը։
 
Անհրաժեշտ է ամենօրյա աշխատանքները կատարել օրվա համեմատաբար զով ժամերին, ցերեկային ամենաշոգ ժամերին հնարավորինս խուսափել բացօթյա տարածքում ծանր ֆիզիկական աշխատանքից, պետք է հետևել, որպեսզի օդորակիչի սառը օդի ուժեղ հոսանքն ուղղված չլինի անմիջապես մարդու վրա, այն տարածքներում, որտեղ առկա են օդորակիչներ, անհրաժեշտ է հագնվել ջերմաստիճանին համապատասխան:
