Այն ինչ տեղի է ունենում այսօր մեր իրականության մեջ դուրս է ցանկացած քաղաքագիտական գրականության բոլոր չափորոշիչներից ու իրավական պետություն կոչված իրողությունից։ Շուրջ չորս տարի է՝ ականատես ենք լինում մեկ անձի քմահաճույքների ու նրա քաղաքական քիմքը շոյող գործընթացների։ Բանն այն է, որ ՀՀ այսօրվա իրավական համակարգը բացառապես սպասարկում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, և յուրաքանչյուր քայլն ուղղակիորեն համաձայնեցված է նրա հետ։

Իր քաղաքական գործունեության ընդդիմադիր ժամանակահատվածում նույն Փաշինյանը քանիցս թիրախ է դարձրել իրավական ոլորտը, ամբիոններից ճամարտակել, թե այն սպասարկում է օրվա իշխանությանը, որ չի կարող երկրում իրավական համակարգը երկակի ստանդարտներ կիրառել, սակայն այսօր տեսնում ենք տրամագծորեն հակառակը։ Փաշինյանը ոչ միայն շատ կարճ ժամանակահատվածում սեփականացրեց նախկինում գոյություն ունեցած վատ սովորույթներն ու գործելաոճը, այն եղածը քառապատկեց՝ դառնալով տոտալ բռնապետ։

Այսօր կայացած փաստ է այն, որ Հայաստանում կան անձինք, ովքեր կալանավորվել և ներկայումս գտնվում են անազատության մեջ միայն այն պատճառով, որ չեն ցանկացել  «ընդունել» Նիկոլի կրոնը, և փորձել են տարբերվող տեսակետ արտահայտել։ Ակնհայտ է, որ ՀՀ-ում ներկայումս կան քաղբանտարկյալներ, որոնց թիվը կազմում է մի քանի տասնյակ։ Այս ֆոնին հատկանշական է փաստել նաև այն, որ ՀՀ-ում տարիներ շարունակ, որպես իրավապաշտպաններ իրենց գործունեությունը ծավալած մի խումբ պատեհապաշտներ կոնֆորտ տեղավորվել են իշխանական կերակրատաշտի մոտ և լուռ հետևում են փաշինյանական վարչախմբի ապօրինություններին։

Կարևոր է փաստել մի կուրյոզ կազուս, որ այսօր առկա է ՀՀ-ում․ «ժողովրդավարության բաստիոն» համարվող երկրում օրըստօրե ավելանում է քաղբանտարկյալների թիվը, և դա փաստ է․ վերջին երկու-երեք ամիսներին իշխանությունները հաջորդաբար կալանավորում են տարբեր ընդդիմադիր գործիչների։ Ըստ էության, ունենք դեպքեր նաև, որ միջազգային հանրության համար է անգամ ակնհայտ, որ տեղի ունեցածը քաղաքական ձերբակալություններ են, օրինակ՝ Ավետիք Չալաբյանի դեպքում արտերկրի տարբեր կառույցներից ու կազմակերպություններից, այդ թվում նաև դիվանագիտական, եղել է կոնկրետ զգուշացում, հնչել է գնահատական Չալաբյանին ազատ արձակելու հետ կապված, սակայն տեսնում ենք, որ մինչ օրս նա անազատության մեջ է։ Ընդհանուր այս քաոսի մեջ ամենացինիկն ու մառազմատիկն այն է, որ իշխանությունները շարունակում են հնարավոր բոլոր առիթների դեպքում ևս մեկ անգամ խոսել ժողովրդավարության «աննախադեպ» ձեռքբերումների, դեմոկրատական աշխարհի «բարձրագույն լիգայում» լինելու և նմանօրինակ այլ աբսուրդ իրողությունների մասին։
