«Հայրենիք» կուսակցության նախագահ Արթուր Վանեցյանն՝ ի պատասխան համացանցում շրջանառվող նորությանը, թե իշխանությունը պատրաստվում է ձերբակալել և երկամսյա կալանքի սանկցիա ստանալ դատարանից նրա դեմ, ասել է՝

- Հոգեվարքի մեջ գտնվող իշխանությունից ամեն ինչ, ամեն տեսակի ստորություն կարելի է սպասել, բայց վստահեցնում եմ, որ բացի «առևանգելուց», այն էլ՝ ժամանակավոր, ինձ մեկուսացնելու ոչ մի եղանակ չկա: Խոսքն օրինական եղանակների մասին է: Համոզված եղեք՝ իմ նկատմամբ օրենքով նախատեսված որևէ գործողության, հետապնդման առիթ, պատճառ և հիմք չկա:
