Дорогие друзья, мы все прекрасно знаем, что в наше время прогресс и процветание государства напрямую зависят от развития образования и науки.
 
Пять лет назад в Армении, открыв Фонд науки и технологий Армении (FAST), мы стали активно работать над миссией создания единой инновационной экосистемы, объединения ученых Армении, диаспоры и международных партнеров и привлечения в Армению передового научного опыта.
 
Два года назад, в целях развития фундаментальной науки, FAST инициировал грантовую программу ADVANCE STEM Research, которая предоставляет возможность научно-исследовательским группам из Армении работать над инновационными проектами мирового уровня.
 
В этом году мы отмечаем 5-летний юбилей FAST, в честь чего 31 марта 2022 года в Лос-Анджелесе (Калифорния, США) пройдет мероприятие Advance Armenia Gala 2022, где со специальной речью выступит соучредитель FAST, член Совета Попечителей , основатель и Исполнительный директор венчурной компании Flagship Pioneering, соучредитель и Председатель Совета Директоров компании Moderna Нубар Афеян.
 
Мы проводим Advance Armenia Gala 2022 с целью сбора средств для развития программы ADVANCE STEM Research, благодаря которой около 50 ученых из Армении, объединенных в 10 научно-исследовательских групп, будут иметь возможность работать совместно с иностранными исследователями над созданием научно-инновационных проектов в таких передовых сферах, как биотехнологии, машинное обучение и др. Благодаря этим грантам, исследователи из Армении совместно с иностранными партнерами получат всестороннюю, долгосрочную институциональную и финансовую поддержку для осуществления своих исследовательских проектов. Это в свою очередь позволит значительно улучшить научные показатели страны, а в долгосрочной перспективе будет способствовать развитию науки и технологических инноваций в Армении.
