ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարության նախաձեռնությամբ դեկտեմբերի 6-8-ը նախարարի տեղակալ Արա Խզմալյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունն աշխատանքային այցով գտնվում է Վրաստանում, տեղեկացնում է ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և տեղեկատվության վարչությունը։ 

Աշխատանքային խմբի անդամներն են՝ ԿԳՄՍՆ մշակութային ժառանգության և ժողովրդական արհեստների վարչության պետ Աստղիկ Մարաբյանը, «Հայաստանի պետական ֆիլհարմոնիա» ՊՈԱԿ-ի տնօրեն Արտյոմ Նաղդյանը, Գեղագիտության ազգային կենտրոնի տնօրեն Վահան Բադալյանը, «Սոս Սարգսյանի անվան համազգային թատրոն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի դերասան, բեմադրիչ Նարինե Գրիգորյանը:

Այցի նպատակն է հայ-վրացական մշակութային կապերի խթանումը, ժամանակակից արվեստի, մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանության ոլորտներում համատեղ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող և հետագա համագործակցությանն առնչվող հարցերի քննարկումը:

Աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակում նախարարի տեղակալ Արա Խզմալյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը հանդիպել է Վրաստանի մշակույթի, սպորտի և երիտասարդության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Կախա Սիխարուլիձեի հետ:  Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են մշակույթի ոլորտին վերաբերող  մի շարք հարցեր, և ձեռք են բերվել նախնական  պայմանավորվածություններ հնագիտության, կինոարտադրության, թանգարանային գործի, թատրոնի և մշակութային կրթության ոլորտներում համագործակցության ուղղությամբ:

Արա Խզմալյանի խոսքով՝ շատ կարևոր է հանդես գալ համատեղ նախաձեռնություններով, ինչը հնարավորություն կտա ավելի լավ ծանոթանալու հարևան պետության մշակույթի հետ:

«Փոփոխվել են համաշխարհային մարտահրավերները, աշխարհաքաղաքական պայմանները, մշակութային առաջնահերթությունները, և մենք իսկապես կարիք ունենք փոխհամագործակցությամբ լավագույնս ծանոթանալու մեր երկու պետությունների մշակույթին, մշակելու մեխանիզմներ, որոնցով կարող ենք համադրել մեր երկու պետությունների մշակութային քաղաքականությունները»,- նշել է Արա Խզմալյանը և հավելել, որ որպես համագործակցության մեկնարկ՝ առաջարկվել է համատեղ ջանքերով մասնագիտական, փորձագիտական խմբերի ընդգրկմամբ  բարեկարգել,  նորոգել Գանձայում գտնվող Վահան Տերյանի տուն-թանգարանը, խթանել հնագետների միջև համագործակցությունը, կազմակերպել երկու երկրների մշակութային հարուստ ժառանգությանը վերաբերող համատեղ ցուցադրություններ:

Նշենք, որ այցի շրջանակում հայկական պատվիրակությունն այցելել է Թբիլիսիի հայ գրողների և հասարակական գործիչների «Խոջիվանք» պանթեոն, այնուհետև Սուրբ Գևորգ առաջնորդանիստ եկեղեցում հանդիպել են Վիրահայոց թեմի առաջնորդ հոգեշնորհ Տեր Կիրակոս վարդապետ Դավթյանի հետ:
