Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն այսօր հանդիպում-քննարկում է ունեցել Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի միաբանների հետ։
«Զրույցի ընթացքում քննարկվեցին համավարակի հետեւանքների հաղթահարման ուղղությամբ Եկեղեցու կողմից ձեռնարկվող քայլերը, մտահոգություն արտահայտվեց հայրենական, քաղաքական կյանքում ստեղծված անհամերաշխության, հակառակության մթնոլորտի առնչությամբ», - հաղորդում են Մայր Աթոռից:
Վերջինիս կապակցությամբ Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը մասնավորապես ասել է.
«Սիրով, խաղաղությամբ, համբերատարությամբ, միմյանց հանդեպ բարի ու հոգատար վերաբերմունքով միայն մենք ի զորու կլինենք հզոր պահել մեր ազգային-եկեղեցական կյանքը, զորացնել մեր պետականությունը, առաջընթացի նոր ուղիներով առաջնորդել երկիր հայրենին։ Այս առումով Մենք ցավով ենք անդրադառնում հայրենական մեր կյանքում, ի մասնավորի նաեւ համացանցի տիրույթում հաստատված անցանկալի մթնոլորտին, որտեղ սփռվում են վիրավորանք ու թշնամանք, ոտնահարվում են արժեք ու սրբություն։ Մենք՝ որպես հոգեւոր հայրեր, պետք է ամուր պահենք մեր ժողովրդի զավակների մեջ գիտակցությունը, որ հայրենիքի զարգացման տեսլականի շուրջ տարբեր պատկերացումները չառաջնորդեն անհանդուրժողության ու բռնության արարքների, քաղաքական հայացքները եւ տարաձայնությունները պատճառ դառնան ազգային միասնության պառակտումի։ Հարկ է հաստատուն պահել բարեկրթության, պարկեշտության եւ փոխադարձ հարգանքի սահմանները, որովհետեւ արդարության, բարօրության հաստատումը հասարակության կյանքում չի կարող իրականացվել անպատշաճ արտահայտչաձեւերով եւ թշնամանքի հրահրմամբ»։
Նորին Սրբությունը խոսել է նաեւ համավարակի պայմաններում եկեղեցականների առաքելության մասին։ 
«Շարունակաբար սատար կանգնելով հայրենի պետության ջանքերին` մենք պարտավոր ենք ուղղորդել մեր հավատավոր զավակներին ու կոչ անել, որպեսզի թե՛ եկեղեցիներ, թե՛ ուխտատեղիներ եւ այլուր այցելելիս խստորեն հետեւեն պատկան կառույցների սահմանած կանոններին։ Պետք է բարձրացնենք յուրաքանչյուր անհատի՝ այլոց կյանքի անվտանգության համար պատասխանատվության գիտակցությունը։ Այսօր չունենք ավելի կարեւոր հրամայական, քան վարակի տարածման կանխարգելումը, որպեսզի վերադառնանք մեր բնականոն կյանքի ընթացքին», - ասել է Վեհափառ Հայրապետը։
