Նոյեմբերի 14-16-ին Սիսիանի տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցած հայ-ադրբեջանական բախումների ժամանակ մեր զինվորները, իրականում, հերոսական պայքար են մղել։ Մեզ պատմեցին, որ թշնամին ամեն գնով ցանկացել է Գորիս-Երեւան ճանապարհն իր վերահսկողության տակ վերցնել, որը տեղի կունենար, եթե կարողանային գրավել այդ ճանապարհը վերահսկող «Ծիծեռնակ» անվանումով դիրքը։ Բայց մեր զինվորները կյանքի ու նաեւ իրենց ճարպկության, խորամանկության գնով կարողացել են պահպանել դիրքն ու չհանձնել այն թշնամուն։

Մեզ պատմեցին, որ թշնամին երբ հարձակվել է «Ծիծեռնակ» դիրքի վրա, մեր զինվորներն այնքան են կրակել նրանց վրա, որ նրանցից մեկի գնդացրի փամփուշտները սպառվել են։ Զինվորներից մեկի մոտ ադրբեջանական գլխարկ է եղել, նա փորձել է խորամանկության դիմել․ դրել է ադրբեջանական գլխարկը, ու քանի որ արդեն մութ է եղել, գնացել մտել է ադրբեջանցիների մեջ, որոնք այդ պահին թալանելիս են եղել իրենց կողմից գրավված հայկական դիրքերը, եւ ադրբեջանցու կերպարանքով՝ երկու արկղ փամփուշտ է վերցրել դիրքից ու նորից վերադարձել իրենց դիրքը։ Թշնամուց «գողացած» փամփուշտներով սկսել են նորից կրակել թշնամու ուղղությամբ։

Ի դեպ, մեզ ասացին, որ արդբեջանական զինուժն այդ օրը մեծ քանակությամբ զոհ է տվել՝ 200-ից ավելի, որն ադրբեջանցիները մինչ օրս պաշտոնապես չեն հայտարարել։ Նրանք ադրբեջանական կայքերով մինչեւ հիմա դեռ հաղորդում են պատերազմական գործողությունների շարունակության եւ իրենց հաղթանակների մասին, որպեսզի կարողանան հետո իրենց հասարակությանը «հիմնավորել» զոհերի այդքան մեծ քանակը։
