Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը տեւական ժամանակ մեկուսացել էր` չէր շփվում թիմի հետ: Անգամ ՏԻՄ ընտրություններից հետո չէր հավաքել թիմին, որ «դուխ» տար եւ կատարվածը վերլուծեր։

Միակ մարդը, ով վերջին շաբաթներին ելումուտ է անում եւ անմիջական կոնտակտ ունի նրա հետ, ԱԺ փոխխոսնակ Ռուբեն Ռուբինյանն է։ Նա գրեթե ամեն օր երեկոյան հյուրընկալվում է կառավարական առանձնատանը եւ մի քանի ժամ առանձնանում նրա հետ։ Թե ինչու հենց Ռուբինյանը, եւ ինչ հարցեր են ժամերով քննարկում, մեր աղբյուրները չգիտեն: Ենթադրում են, որ Ադրբեջանի եւ Թուրքիայի հետ կապը նախկին խոսնակ Վլադիմիր Կարապետյանի փոխարեն այժմ ապահովում է Ռուբեն Ռուբինյանը, բայց դա ընդամենը վարկած է։
