Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա Կաթողիկոսն, ընկերակցությամբ միաբան հայրերի, պաշտոնական այցելութուն է կատարել ասորական կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու պետ Ամենապատիվ Իգնատիոս Հովսեփ Գ. Հովնան Պատրիարքին՝ նրա ձեռնադրության հիսնամյակի առիթով։ Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսությունից։ 

«Հանդիպման ընթացքին արծարծուեցան հայ եւ ասորի ժողովուրդներուն ու եկեղեցիներուն պատմական յարաբերութեանց, զանազան գաղութներու մէջ երկու եկեղեցիները դիմագրաւող դժուարութիւեանց, ինչպէս նաեւ երկու եկեղեցիներուն միջեւ գործակցութիւնը աւելի զարգացնելու հրամայականին առնչուած հարցեր։ 

Այս առիթով, յատուկ կերպով անդրադարձ կատարուեցաւ Լիբանանի ներկայ կացութեան եւ Վատիկանի մէջ ամիսներ առաջ կայացած հոգեւոր պետերու հանդիպման։ 

Աւարտին, Նորին Սրբութիւնը ու անոր ընկերակցող պատուիրակութիւնը ճաշի հիւրը եղան Պատրիարքին։ 

Յայտնենք, որ Վեհափառ Հայրապետին պատուիրակութեան մաս կազմեցին Գերշ. Տ. Կոմիտաս Արք. Օհանեան, Գերշ. Տ. Մակար Եպս. Աշգարեան, Հոգշ. Տ. Պարոյր Վրդ. Շէրնէզեան եւ Հոգշ. Տ. Յովակիմ Վրդ. Բանճարճեան»,- ասվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ։
