«Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը որպես «թավշյա հեղափոխության» ու Դուշանբեում Ալիևի հետ վերելակային գաղտնազրույցի ամենամեծ ձեռքբերում՝ ներկայացրեց Ադրբեջանի հետ ուղիղ կապի հաստատումը։ Թե ինչ մտքեր ու ոչ միայն մտքեր փոխանակվեցին այդ կապուղու միջոցով, տակավին անհայտ է։ Ինչպես որ չկան ստույգ տեղեկություններ այն մասին՝ արդյոք այդ կապը դադարե՞ց պատերազմի ընթացքում և դրանից հետո, թե՞ շարունակում էր ու է՛ գործել այնքան գաղտնիորեն, որքան այն ծնած վերելակային գյալաջին։ Իսկ դա նշանակում է, որ առնվազն բացառելի չէ այդ կապի գործարկումը նաև սյունիքյան վերջին իրադարձությունների բերումով։

Հնարավոր է, ասենք, «տարածք՝ իշխանության դիմաց» սխեմայի փոխանակություն գաղտնի կապի միջոցով, որի արդյունքում Սև լիճը և այլ դիրքեր կարող են անցնել կապի մի կողմում գտնվող Իլհամ Ալիևին, փոխարենը՝ հնարավորություն տալով մյուս կապավորին՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, ռազմական դրություն հայտարարելու միջոցով չեղարկել խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները՝ առժամանակ պահպանելով իշխանությունը։ Մինչև հաջորդ կապի հաստատում։

Բացառված չէ նաև, որ այդ կապի միջոցով լուծվում են նաև այլ՝ ավելի գլոբալ խնդիրներ, ինչպես, օրինակ, Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության (ՀԱՊԿ) հեղինակազրկումը, որը կարող է տեղի ունենալ այդ կառույցին Հայաստանի դիմելու արդյունքում։ Խնդիրը տվյալ դեպքում ՀԱՊԿ-ի գործունակությունը չէ, որին Հայաստանի անդամակցությունը կրում է զուտ ձևական բնույթ։

Խնդիրը ժամանակահատվածն է, որում Հայաստանում կարող են գեներացվել ՀԱՊԿ-ը վարկաբեկող տրամադրություններ՝ դրանից բխող հետևանքներով։ Չունենալով անվտանգային  իրական այլընտրանք՝ ՀԱՊԿ-ի հետ խնդիրների ստեղծումը էլ ավելի է նվազեցնելու Հայաստանի անվտանգության գրեթե գոյություն չունեցող մակարդակը, ինչը շահեկան է, առաջին հերթին՝ Ադրբեջանի համար։

Եվ եթե Հայաստանի դիմումը ՀԱՊԿ-ին համաձայնեցված չէ Ռուսաստանի հետ (ՌԴ նախագահն ու արտգործնախարարը Հայաստանի ղեկավարների հետ վերջին զրույցներում ՀԱՊԿ-ի մասին անգամ չեն հիշատակում), ապա այդ գործընթացի վտանգավորությունը կարող է բազմապատկվել։ Ընդ որում, բացառված չէ, որ այսպիսով Ադրբեջանը էլ ավելի է թանկացնում ԵԱՏՄ-ին անդամագրվելու իր հնարավորությունը, որին այդքան ձգտում է Ռուսաստանը, և որի դիմաց կարող է հերթական զոհաբերությունը մատուցել Հայաստանի հաշվին՝ Սև լճի կամ որևէ այլ տարածքի տեսքով։ Սրանք բոլորը գաղտնի կապով քննարկելու արժանի հարցեր են՝ հատկապես այն դեպքում, երբ կապավորներից մեկը կանգնած է իշխանությունը կորցնելու գոյաբանական սպառնալիքի առաջ։

Գաղտնիությունը մարդկանց հարազատացնում է, եթե անգամ գաղտնիությամբ շփվում են թշնամիները։ Համատեղ գաղտնիքները երբեմն կարող են համատեղ գործած հանցանքներին հավասար լինել, ինչը ևս մարդկանց, անգամ՝ թշնամիներին, միավորելու հատկություն ունի։ Գործնականից բացի, գաղտնի կապերն ունեն նաև անձնական նշանակություն, և բացառելի չէ, որ դրա միջոցով, օրինակ, կապավորներից բեղավորը տեղեկացրած լինի յուր կնոջ կողմից կապավորներից մորուքավորի կնոջ հրավերին արձագանքելու ու դրա արդյունքում ունկնդրած մուղամից ստացած տպավորությունների մասին։

Ադրբեջանի հետ հաստատված գաղտնի կապը հեղափոխության ամենամեծ ձեռքբերումներից էր։ Գուցե ամենամեծը՝ Իլհամ Ալիևի կյանքում»,-գրում է թերթը։
