Իրադրության խորը և համակողմանի գնահատումն ակնհայտ է դարձնում, որ ադրբեջանցիների իրականացրածը սադրանք է, որը կարող է ունենալ շատ ավելի ընդարձակ, ռազմաքաղաքական նպատակներ, Անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստում հայըարարել է վարչապետի պաշտոնակատար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ 

«Նկատի ունեմ՝ ադրբեջանցիները տվյալ տեղանքում հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանը, հնարավոր է, հատել են ոչ թե տեղային խնդիրներ լուծելու, այլ ռազմական բախում սադրելու նպատակով», - նշեց նա։ 

Փաշինյանն ասաց, թե տվյալ տեղանքում իրենց գտնվելը Ադրբեջանի զինուժի ներկայացուցիչները փորձում են բացատրել ակնհայտորեն կեղծված քարտեզների միջոցով, դրանցով փորձելով հիմնավորել, թե դա ադրբեջանական տարածք է։

«Ինչպես արդեն նշել եմ, Խորհրդային Միության ժամանակ հաստատված քարտեզները միանշանակ են դարձնում, որ Ադրբեջանի այդ պնդումները որևէ հիմք չունեն, ինչի մասին գիտեն հենց իրենք՝ ադրբեջանցիները», - ասաց նա։

Ստեղծված իրավիճակը, ըստ Փաշինյանի, լիարժեքորեն համապատասխանում է ՀԱՊԿ հոդված 2-րդի 2-րդ պարբերությանը, համաձայն որի «մեկ կամ մի քանի մասնակից պետությունների անվտանգությանը, տարածքային ամբողջականությանը և ինքնիշխանությանը սպառնացող վտանգի կամ միջազգային խաղաղությանն ու անվտանգությանը սպառնացող վտանգի դեպքում մասնակից պետություններն անմիջապես կակտիվացնեն համատեղ խորհրդակցությունների մեխանիզմը, իրենց դիրքորոշումները համակարգելու և ծագած սպառնալիքը վերացնելու նպատակով միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու համար»։

ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Արա Այվազյանին, պաշտպանության նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանին, ԱԽ քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանին Փաշինյանը հանձնարարել է միջոցներ ձեռնարկել ՀԱՊԿ պայմանագրի 2-րդ հոդվածով նախատեսված խորհրդակցությունների մեկնարկի ուղղությամբ, մասնավորապես՝ ՀԱՊԿ անդամ երկրների դիրքորոշումները համակարգելու և ծագած սպառնալիքը վերացնելու նպատակով միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու համար։
