Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը շնորհավորական ուղերձներ է հղել Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի, Բելառուսի, Ղազախստանի, Ղրղըզստանի, Մոլդովայի, Տաջիկստանի, Թուրքմենստանի, Ուզբեկստանի, Աբխազիայի, Հարավային Օսիայի ղեկավարներին  քաղաքացիներին, ինչպես նաեւ Վրաստանի եւ Ուկրաինայի ժողովուրդներին Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում տարած հաղթանակի 76-ամյակի կապակցությամբ:

Ըստ Կրեմլի մամուլի ծառայության՝ «իր շնորհավորանքներում ՌԴ ղեկավարն ընդգծել է, որ այս օրը մենք հպարտության եւ երախտագիտության հատուկ զգացումով հարգում ենք մեր հայրերի եւ պապերի սխրանքը, ովքեր համարձակորեն ուսի տված պայքարում էին թշնամու դեմ եւ անձնվիրաբար աշխատում թիկունքում:

«Այսօր մեր բարոյական պարտականությունն է  հոգացողությամբ պահպանել եւ մատաղ սերունդներին փոխանցել այդ ծանր տարիների դեպքերի հիշողությունը: Միասին մենք պետք է վճռականորեն դիմակայենք պատմությունը խեղաթյուրելու եւ կեղծելու, Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի արդյունքները վերանայելու, նացիստների եւ նրանց կամակատարների կողմից կատարված հրեշավոր վայրագություններն արադարացնելու ցանկացած փորձի»,- ասել է Վլադիմիր Պուտինը:

Ռուսաստանի նախագահը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ եղբայրական բարեկամության եւ փոխօգնության ավանդույթները, որոնք կոփվել են պատերազմի դաժան տարիներին, անսասան հիմք են եղել եւ մնում մեր երկրների եւ ժողովուրդների միջեւ կառուցողական եւ բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունների կառուցման եւ զարգացման համար:

Վլադիմիր Պուտինը անկեղծ երախտագիտության խոսքեր է փոխանցել Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի բոլոր վետերաններին եւ թիկունքի ջանադիրներին, մաղթել է նրանց առողջություն, բարեկեցություն, ոգու կայտառություն եւ երկարակեցություն»:
