Շաբաթ Ինդոնեզիայի կենտրոնական հատվածում գտնվող Ճավա կղզու ափամերձ հատվածում տեղի ունեցած երկրաշարժի հետևանքով զոհվել է 6 մարդ: Այս մասին հաղորդում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն՝ հղում անելով տեղի իշխանություններին:

Մի շարք տներ ավերվել են ցնցումների հետևանքով: Երկրի Օդերութաբանության ազգային վարչության ցունամիների և երկրաշարժերի գծով բաժնի ղեկավարը նշել է, որ երկրաշարժը, որը տեղի է ունեցել ջրի տակ, չի հանգեցրել ցունամիի առաջացման: Ցնցումները զգացվել են զբոսաշրջիկների շրջանում հայտնի Բալի կղզում: Տարերային աղետների հետևանքների դեմ պայքարող գործակալության տվյալներով՝ վեց մարդ մահացել է, 1-ը լուրջ վնասվածքներ ստացել: Արևելյան Ճավա նահանգի մի քանի գյուղեր տարհանվել են:
