Այսօր Կանանց միջազգային տոնն է: Հատկապես մեր երկրի համար ծանրագույն այս ժամանակահատվածում է՛լ ավելի անգնահատելի է դառնում այն առաքելությունը, որն ունի հայ կինը: Հայ ժողովրդի բազմադարյա պատմության ընթացքում մշտապես մեծ է եղել ձեր դերակատարումը մեր պետականության կերտման, ազգի հարատևման, մեր ձեռքբերումների ու հաղթանակների ճանապարհին: Վստահ եմ, որ բոլոր ժամանակների դժվարություններն ու փորձությունները պատվով հաղթահարած հայ կինն այսօր էլ չի խոնարհվելու կորստյան ցավի առջև, չի ընկրկելու ու չի հանձնվելու:

Առանձնահատուկ խոնարհումս եմ հայտնում հանուն հայրենիքի նահատակված մեր բոլոր հերոսների մայրերին և կանանց: Գիտեմ, որ կորստի ցավն անասելի մեծ է, բայց դուք պարտավոր եք ուժեղ լինել հանուն ձեր որդիների հիշատակի և նրանց սերունդների ապագայի: Դուք եղել ու շարունակելու եք լինել հայ ընտանիքի հիմնասյունը և այսօր էլ ունեք նույն առաքելությունը՝ շենացնել ու վառ պահել հայի օջախը, մեր կորցրած հաղթանակը հետ բերող սերունդներ ժառանգել հայրենիքին:


Այսօր ես ուզում եմ աշխարհի բոլոր հայ մայրերին և քույրերին մեկ բարեմաղթանք հղել՝ թող հաջորդող բոլոր գարունները խաղաղ լինեն:
